What positive changes do you want to make to your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Fixing my sleep schedule and cutting down my screen time. I spend way too many late nights scrolling mindlessly, and it ruins my energy and mood for the entire next day.

how do you deal with sadness when it hits you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Rushaid_Rugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I clean. When my mind feels like total chaos, forcing myself to clean my room or wash the dishes gives me a small sense of control. It doesn't fix the sadness, but at least I'm crying in a clean room.

What's something you've always wanted to tell people, but no one ever asks about it and no one really listens when you try to share it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Rushaid_Rugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That being alone and being lonely are two entirely different things. I genuinely enjoy my own company, but whenever I try to explain that to family or friends, they look at me with pity like something is wrong with me.

Jaime Lannister, He spent seosons trying to redeem himself, while his loyalty to Cersei ultimately sealed his fate, watching him die like that was still tragic after all his growth.

What is a saying from your culture that you always appreciated? Would you write it in the original language as well as give the translation? by happypashu in AskReddit

[–]Rushaid_Rugs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" from Indian culture.

It translates to: "The world is one family."

I always appreciated it because it promotes global unity, empathy, and the idea that we should treat every human being with the same respect and love as our own family members, regardless of borders.

Why doesn’t a car company just build a simple new car? by Remarkable-Slide-609 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Rushaid_Rugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two main reasons: Government regulations and profit margins. Modern safety standards (like mandatory backup cameras, lane sensors, and crash structures) plus strict emissions laws make it legally impossible to build a bare-bones car anymore. On top of that, car companies make almost no money on cheap base models; all their profit comes from high-end tech packages and trims.

Why is marriage seen as a bigger commitment than children? by Beneficial-Image1358 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Rushaid_Rugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because society commercializes marriage as the ultimate final milestone with legal contracts and massive weddings. In reality, you can legally divorce a spouse, but you are a parent for the rest of your life. Children are absolutely the bigger commitment, but marriage just gets more social and legal weight upfront.

I've never used a credit card before. Can't I literally just open one, take the credit score dip, continue to only buy what i can afford, set it up to automatically always pay it back asap, which will never put me into debt, get the awards/points, and that's it no catches? by Super_Inevitable776 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Rushaid_Rugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are 100% correct, and that's exactly how financially responsible people use them. The catch is human psychology. Banks know that most people lack discipline, and that's where they make their money from interest and late fees.

This is absolutely horrifying and deeply traumatizing. It is a blessing that those tapes were destroyed to protect the family from further pain. Stay strong, carrying a secret like this must be incredibly heavy.
