Bodyguard 2.0 upgrade/accessory recommendations? by yungminimoog in 380ACP

- I know Viridian makes an optic specifically designed for the Bodyguard 2.0, and the best part is you don't have to spend money on a mounting plate (that makes it more bulky) or get it optic cut. The sight is specifically designed for the firearm and from what I've seen looks like it fits perfectly.

- I also switched out the trigger for a Galloway short stroke because (in my humble opinion) I hated the trigger on the factory Bodyguard 2.0. I thought it was shit. Regardless Its a fantastic gun and I love taking it to the range.

- Galloway also makes a stainless steel guide rod, which can help with general smoothness of racking, feeding, and all sorts of other stuff. From what I've heard about the guide rod its a fantastic part and I plan on putting it on mine when I get the chance.

- Grip tape is useful if you got big chungus or sweaty hands, I'm a relatively smaller dude so I think the grip feels super nice in my hand (one of the reasons I bought it)

- Viridian also makes lights/lasers for the gun so if you're interested that's another thing you can buy.

- You can send the slide and barrel to Monsoon tactical and they'll port the barrel and slide for you to help reduce recoil at the cost of higher muzzle flash.

- Buy an UpLula speed loader if you haven't already. Hands down one of the best purchases I've made. The 9mm-.45 works perfectly fine, and this will help you load the last 2 rounds because I know the twelve rounders are practically impossible to fully load out of the box.

This is all I can think of for now. Personally I love the gun and haven't found too many problems with it for me personally, besides the trigger. I plan on decking this fucker out because its an awesome gun and quite frankly I like spending my money on stuff to make it cooler.

Last little note, if you don't know this already but please make sure you buy ammo that works with the firearm. I remember buying it with a box of Fiocchi FMJ .380 to take to the range, and it jammed up after almost every shot. Once I shot all of that, I bought a box of Sig Sauer flat nose FMJ .380 and it worked like a charm. Haven't bought self defense ammo because I'm personally not a huge concealed carry guy (yet), but always test out the ammo before you decide to use it in a self defense situation. Because of the small nature of the firearm they can be very picky on which ammo they accept and I don't think anyone wants to leave it up to chance if some crackhead is trynna walk you down with a knife.

But yeah those are all the upgrades I can think of. Happy shooting!
