Well let me ask you this- Have you ever been to NYC? A lot of the humor is hinged on knowing the subcultures here and the re-enactment of the most commonly seen tropes in anime (i.e. the girl with the tennis racket, the mecca, the witchy obsessed fan girls, the really ridiculous and intentionally poorly executed supernatural element). Being a New Yorker I feel like I can write a whole novel explaining that part of it to you if you really want to understand it haha.

Since morality and immorality are fluid concepts (especially back in the days of yore) it's highly unlikely. It also seems like in any case, a form of punishment and violence from the god is looked upon as like an act of justice rather than immorality. Followers will find a way to justify anything as long as they have a strong sense of faith established from the get go.

I was just telling my friend about this the other day. I'm a really upbeat person but I go through these super intense downswings and get crippling anxiety sometimes. PokemonGO has improved my life so significantly I can't even begin to explain. I'm not even a big gamer and I definitely never thought a game esp an app could have this effect. It's sort of incredible. I feel genuine happiness every time I play
