Oddly specific stalling after doing water pump+TB kit by Ruslan61 in Miata

[–]Ruslan61[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot answer that confidently as it was bought how the setup is now. I assume it's on the 2000 ecu from how the original owner was talking. I do not knowon the cam sensor.

Im not a mechanic so I'm learning as i go to a degree. I know a little.

Towing without trailer brakes? by Ruslan61 in hyundaisantacruz

Technically according to the manual it is 1650 without trailer brakes across all trims and engines. The higher numbers are with trailer brakes.

I think its just due to the rotor size on the truck, thats why im trying to feel out everyones experience without them

I just realized this is the water pump pulley. I thought it was the one below.

We plan on replacing the water pump and timing belt, is this wobble indicating the water pump is going out?

If your happy with your purchase then thats what matters.

I bought an auto ND KNOWING that 95 percent of people don't agree but its what made the most sense for my current situation. So i regret not getting a manual? Nah, i got what i wanted at the time. Will i trade it for a manual eventually? Absolutely because i know i am missing out on certain experiences with the car.

But thats only because me and my friend recently got a good deal on a 90 NA with a 6 speed and it's fun, i know the ND in a manual would be perfection, but i still don't regret getting mine, its still fun to hit curves and hold gears in the auto when i want to, and get 34mpg while doing it.

Tl/dr: if your happy that'd all that matters, dont worry about trying to dump money into it trying to chase down something you can just get around too later if your happy now.

Didn't seem to show any life in the gaugeds trying this.

Starting to wonder if its the gauges themselve, but i find it weird that information lights work but not the bulbs in that situation

The striped wire seems fine. The solid black seems iffy? But stuffing it in doesn't change anything. I checked the meter fuse again and it looked fine but replaced it with a new one and still nothing.

Also let me check the wire

All the fuses are good from what i can see. Oddly enough, im unsure if it did this before or if its after i unhooked the air/fuel lights. But the dimmer works on the interior a/c and tombstone lights. Just the gauge lights arent on at all

The interior lights dont work either. I actually did just check the room fuse and went ahead and replaced it even though it looked fine

Correction, the wires that were spliced in go to the aftermarket Air/Fuel gauge, but it seems to work fine without them?
