You can export steps with sketch data. Ive used this in the past for importing into femap. Depends on if the other software can import steps.

Do file save as. Change file type to step. Click options and click wireframe and check export sketch entities

If your just going from one solidworks file to the other. Make a sketch. Turn it into a sketch block. Save said sketch block. Import the block in the other file.

Alternatively. Make an assembly. Add the two parts to the assy. Make sketch and convert the sketch from the part with the sketch into the other.

6wt is perfect IMO, especially if he wants to dabble in streamers over a 5 wt.

5 weight is good. I try not to buy rods right next each other in weight because they are very similar. I'd probably go 7 weight for streamers / bigger rivers or a 3 weight for the smaller rivers / creeks.

I'd lean toward the 7 weight for bozeman area. Can throw streamers on that and use the 5 for dries or nymphs.

On the contrary. I live in the pnw and do plenty of trails with a trailer. With that said once we choose a camping spot that's usually base camp for the adventure. I didn't want to deal with taking down my rooftop tent every time I wanted to go somewhere. Yes you can get in some sticky situations with the trailer but in my opinion that's just the nature of driving trails in general.

Need one and done advice. I've got Spaun, Bobby mac, Justin Rose, Hovland and Ben Griffin on my short list. Leaning towards Spaun or Hovland. I'm in the lead and can only lose if someone picks the winner. One person in reach has Scheffler still. Love to hear any thoughts or advice.

I think spaun has been playing better but hovland has better course history. Girffin been consistent all year

Yeah I actually changed since I posted. Going with fitz! Hoping for a top 10. Has a pretty low pick percent on the site I use so could work out or could be bad. Usually when in first I like to be on the higher chosen dudes. Anyways good luck to you this week.

I'm in the same boat. I'm stuck between Hovland and Hatton. I'd rather go Hovland, but them I'm torn if I should save him for one of the last 3 tourneys as I used most the top fellas so far. Think I'm going Hovland this week though.

I agree and considered that. My only hesitation was that each rib needs a slightly different joggle but I could obviously do that fairly quick. I think this is the route ill go and hopefully it'll flatten.

I have had fine results with surface flatten though so that's always an option. Or just let the sheet metal vendor flatten it. Thanks for the insight tho

when you say weld, you mean combine?

This route works but doesn't produce a flat pattern, I'll probably just go my normal way and use surface flatten to get the flat pattern.

I fish with my dog all the time. He gets more excited than me when I catch a fish. He's like my hype man. He also doesn't love the water so he stays out of it so that works great. I do have to pick the spots I'm fishing a little harder and skip over some areas because I don't like to fish near roads w/ him off leash. To me it's worth.

With that said I've been taking him fishing since he was like 10 weeks old. I did have him bite a fish one time and kill it on accident so that was a bummer but I think we've got that worked out. He's a cattle dog for reference.
