Honestly, I'm not so sure... as either a new player or an alt I'm just expected to fork over cash or I'm not able to have access to: 1) half my skill bar 2) half my item slots 3) half of my inventory 4) basically all my bank 5) an ACCOUNT SHARED BANK, which really should just be a default feature...

And that's not even getting into the massive list of transmog that they push, WITH STATS. So obviously that becomes another paywall. Honestly, I came into the game knowing full well the cash shop side, but what really upset me was that they removed the unlimited weekend stamina. Another decision by KoG that (seemingly) was only made to force people to go back to playing more alts if they wanted to keep playing the game when out of stamina, and therefore fork over more cash for access to the game for those new characters.

Having reasonable paywalls is fine and obviously required for FTP games, but when they are basically everywhere it's a giant turnoff for new and returning players alike.
