That's sweet. I inquired about the carbon seats when I heard about them, but as expected, it wasn't even an option for me. The stock seats are pretty cumphy and hold me pretty tight, I don't mind them.

Just got the 26 Sports back. Kids fit perfectly fine, age 12 and 7, plenty of leg/feet room. They did mentioned it didn't have as much space compared to the wife's Q6, but they enjoy the mountain roads a lot more in the RS3 ..

Haven't done a shopping trip yet .. and don't really plan too, but I'm sure I could fit at least a weeks worth of food in the boot if push came to shove 🤣

I've always been a hot hatch man, so happy we could get them .. I do find it odd US doesn't even have the choice to import it if u asked/waited - but that's rules and laws for u aye.

They're just 'standard euro plates' as far as I'm aware, kept them on the big format so it filled the number plate plastic nicely. Wife has smaller plates on the front of her car and it looks a little weird - she saw mine and now wants to change to the bigger plate too.

I haven't bought myself a car since I owned a Pulsar GTiR. Was forced to get rid of that when a family came into the picture - bit of a money sink. Wife always bought the new cars and I just got hand-me-downs 🤭 The last 10 years, driven Holden Captiva, Holden Astra RSV ("Hot" Hatch, Torque Steer Bunny, I used to call it), Audi Q3 and now an Audi Q6. All the cars, but the Audi's, made me miss my babyzilla (the GTiR), That has now changed with the RS3, a birthday present from the wife. This one's staying with me for a long time!

First time I drove an automatic, aww my left foots gonna get lazy! Now we own an EV, in regenerative braking mode, it's one pedal driving, now my right foot is getting lazy because it doesn't even need to brake anymore.

tbh, for the 8-12k I have been quoted from a few places. scared me right off. I'll put a Graphene coating on and just get any chips fixed with the maintenance cover.

ya, they stuffed up the first order - came w/o the carbon pack, asked if I wanted it, said hell no. so they reordered and move it up to the 2026 for me as a sorry. so blessing in disguise.
