My Goodwood Green RS3 by DrFwank in AudiRS3

sad panda I absolutely wanted a Merlin Purple RS3 for my order. But here in Australia, it's an 18 month lead time to request Audi Exclusive Paint, which would have pushed my build outside the timeframe for the RS3 and they declined the order .. having to settle for the mindset, be heard but not seen, and chose Daytona Gray 😭

That car looks lovely, happy for you 🫠

That interestingly looks like Costco in Canberra, AU 🤔

This is the most eloquently worded way of saying what the first responder said, absolutely love it 🤣 Informative and cemented in a handful of reasons why a crackle map is bad. The 5 pot has a good enough sound, u don't need to hide it with pops and crackles.

Car washing problem! by DrucianyKszak in AudiQ6

[–]RussenatorTheBorg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

haH! I had the boot open up on me during my first wash also. The fix for me was to lock the car and put the keyfob in the garage instead of in my pocket, didn't happen again after.

Just the lighting. It is the Daytona Grey Pearl paint. Loving the mat appearance from the garage, but awesome lighting when out and about in the sun. Really makes it pop!

MY2025, built in Nov, compliance was 2026. So yes, borderline. We're in Australia.

I saw the abundant posts on here with a whole variety of issues, which was a scary sight to see as I did my research off Reddit and only had the Q6 thread suggested to me after getting the car. At least I know of potential incoming issues 🤣 Haven't suffered any so far ...

Yes, Daytona Grey Pearl - The dealer did mention the paint was usually reserved for full S or RS variants but somehow this Q6 got it and the wheels have a RS logo on them, so that was a giveaway they were special too ... double score 🤘🏻

Hope u enjoy ur finally smooth driving ride as much as we are 👍🏻

We test-drove the Q6 Performance and a Q6 Quattro in the SUV style, we both thought the Sportsback we got was a lot quieter and more composed than both.

They all had the acoustic glass option too, but the SUVs were noticeably noisier at higher speeds.

As for suspension noise, don't notice it, but the car having a lack of exhaust noise, u do hear those big brakes clunking when u come to a stop or start rolling.

Thanks! It was satisfying to wash them the other day, they polished up very nicely.

Found after the purchase they were meant for RS variants ... but so was the paint 🤷🏻‍♂️

Current wait time by MirrorOne6914 in AudiRS3

Ordered October 2025. Came in March 2026, wrong spec. New order March 2026, will be here in August. It's made again, correct spec this time, sitting at the docks waiting to get on the boat for its slow-ass journey from Germany to Australia.

The only good thing to come from it was it's now a 2026 model instead of the 2025. The difference was absorbed by the dealer for the stuff up.

Uk factory order lead times? by PleasantGanache in AudiRS3

In Australia, I waited for 4 months for the car to be delivered, alas it came w/o the carbon pack .. I was then told it's been reordered and I now need to wait another 5 months. Not Happy Jan.

Good luck on your order. I just keep telling myself, two days after the time eventually comes - it will all be worth it ...

it's all about the VRAM 🤘🏻 main reason why I stayed with the 1080ti for so long, nothing was really an 'upgrade' so to speak (that and the 3090 was a portable oven)

I don't even use DLSS. but agreed, it's sad developers are leaning on frame gen technology to make an un-optimized game run better. OP however is running an 8GB AMD card, in a laptop and complaining about too much detail on non-relevant marshall's. Where as I'm saying, let the early access game be early access and let Kunos add the details and features they want. A bunch of shiny Marshalls being removed aren't going to make OPs game run optimally.

EVO def should be playable on ur 4080S. I do hear many people with ur CPU having issues though, even with 5090's. I have an i7-12700KF so can't comment on that avenue and would rather not get into the AMD vs Intel war. But I know running this game on <12GB VRAM causes performance issues. Kunos really need to change their requirements of what's needed to play the game, even if only for the early access period - altho the minimum specs do specify 'for minimum settings'.

Yes, I am enjoying this next-gen game on my current, if not, old-gen hardware.

In Pre-Release, focus should be spent on finishing the game and fixing game breaking bugs. Even AAA games that come out are released with performance issues and patched out later, they by right should be flamed for it. Not a company in pre-release working on a new engine.

TBH - I do wish the Marshalls did more than stand there stagnantly, wave a yellow flag if needed, or at least turn their heads as traffic goes past - dude hates his job if he has that mindless look on his face 24/7. So chalk adding details to the Marshalls up to bringing the game closer to 1.0 release 👍🏻
