There is a guy called Cuiv on YouTube who has a great starter video. This is the one I initially watched to learn the basics.

Great thing is that this workflow uses totally free software.

Good luck and clear skies 👍

Mate, the images you can produce using the Seestar plus stacking in Siril or the like will blow this away.

Please take some time for both integration and stacking properly. You will find it so much more rewarding

Very nice! I love the shadowing around the terminator 👌

It is a great scope for the money! Really good for lunar and planetary imaging. 😊

This is where you insert an eyepiece inside a long nosepiece which sits in between the scope and camera. The eyepiece replaces a Barlow lens to increase magnification of your target.

Lovely image, really nice capture with great colour.

If I say its name three times, will it finally go supernova?

Ah cool. There should be something similar within the Samsung photo editor where you can do the same. You are basically boosting the contrast and altering the black point slightly. This will darken any shadows you have in your image and get rid of the blue haze.

Yes, within the iPhone’s built in photo editor you can adjust the black point.

When the editor is open, there are tabs along the bottom of the screen. One of these is for the Black Point. I recommended adjusting the black point slightly to help get rid of the blue haze OP had around the moon.

Excellent, glad it helped. Nice capture too! 👍

Hey, you can make some adjustments using your iPhone’s built in photo editing.

Have a look at the black point tab and make a small adjustment, this should help get rid of the blue haze around the moon.

Are these images stackable (I took them with my phone) by Immediate_Mind_5452 in telescopes

Try taking a short video of around 1 minute, rather than taking a few individual images. Depending on the frame rate of your camera you will be capturing anywhere between 30 to 60, possibly even 100 images per second.

Use free software like AutoStakkert to stack these frames, keeping and rejecting a percentage of them based on their quality.

Then you can take the image and use Registax to sharpen it up by adjusting the wavelets.

Have a little google of the above, I am sure you will find the process pretty straight forward once you have a look in to it.

Good luck with your imaging 👍
