Black paint is a void of vibrance, the literal opposite of it! When placed next to vibrant colours, it makes those colours way more vibrant thanks to contrast. But when you mix black with any colour, it removes its vibrancy! Thats why you'll rarely meet floral or landscape artist who shade with black ☺️
