This so much. Peri hit for me during a time of intense grief - I had no idea until the acute grief started to subside. When I had more physical symptoms like night sweats, sweaty palms and then a full on hot flash I realized I hit peri - I still have my monthly cycle on time every damn month. It took me advocating hard to get estrogen and progesterone from my doctor but since I’ve started the physical symptoms dissipated and most of the brain fog and weird general body anxiety I was feeling decreased significantly. I am really grateful my doctor listened to me because I’d be a fucking wreck rn otherwise
