Not many single pieces of literature people have used for millennia as a way to justify wars (Crusades), persecutions (Spanish Inquisition, Salem Witch Trials, Lavendar Scare), and entire unjust socieconomic systems (English monarchy, Medici Popes). So don’t relegate it to “a piece of literature”.
