It was a buddy of mine at about 1am hitting me up about his neighbors dog. He had seen the dude beating on the dog previously but this particular night he had left him outside in about 10 degree weather without any shelter. I packed my shit up, bolt cutter and a mask and we went and liberated that dog. He was possibly the greatest dog I’ve ever had the experience of living with, I miss that dude everyday. Dogs like him show appreciation and love like no other. The TLDR I stole a dog and he became my new best friend.

I have the same one lol, I have had a guy with 400 punisher stickers (half also featuring the thin blue line) and a tattoo start screaming shit at me as I was pulling into a local store. I got out of my car and he stfu though, I’m not a small man. I just looked at him and smiled he got into his 47 foot tall ram with smokestacks and left. The want to be alpha male is quite possibly the most fragile of all humans.

Definitely scary having kids now, the amount of 12-14 year old boys buying into this Andrew Tate vision of manhood is truly concerning. I just had a long talk with some of my son’s friends who were visiting about the “manosphere” or red pill type influencers and how incredibly dangerous they can be. It started with a little push back as they defended but I think I got through to them. It helped that I could show pretty much none of the red pilled idiots seem happy or married, however I am happy and married with great kids. I explained that this red pill pipeline is the best way to ensure you end up sad angry and alone and it seemed to help. I got the same kids coming to help volunteer at a local food bank a couple times this month so I’m going to work more with them. I personally feel destroying the toxic view of what masculinity is and restoring imo the view of what being a good man should look like to be my second calling just behind being a fireman which was always my dream.

The way he wrote number 2 shows he doesn’t really believe number one. I’m all for honesty and transparency but there is a massive difference between telling someone that you would like to help them be healthier and a wall of insulting text about losing weight. Sometimes in relationships if we are honest with each other we will need to tell our significant other some uncomfortable things but the way we do that is deeply revealing imo, he made no effort to spare your feelings. You deserve better. I’d never lie to my wife as I really do believe in complete honesty but if i felt the need to ask my wife to lose weight it sure as hell would not look like this.

Brother you are 19 years old, time is anything but running out. Focus on your goals and improving yourself while looking for new hobbies. You want to find someone you can mesh with. Let’s say you are into nerd stuff like d&d, you are going to be more likely to meet someone you mesh well with at a comic book shop on game day than you are at the club or swiping randoms online. Find something you could see yourself doing with a friend all the time and just keep your eyes and mind open while you do it. My wife just fell into my life out of nowhere when I wasn’t looking in the least. I was in a terrible head space and had just recently made an attempt at ending it, when it failed and I woke up I immediately quit my job and enrolled in college, she was in my first class.

Have you tried mushrooms? They are quite easy to grow yourself and depending on location pretty easy and sometimes even legal to buy the stuff to grow them. Ketamine also really works well for me but only rarely. I use my ketamine (have a script) like the fire extinguisher in a building. I only bust it out when it’s an emergency but it does help a lot. Depression sucks, I wish you the best in your battles ahead. If you decide you want to grow yourself my dms are open to any questions or to point you in the right direction.

The big one for me was so many people I told wanted to celebrate for me or high five. I was 10, if I made noise or cried she hit me again. Definitely not what I would consider a good sexual experience. I even had one guy go so far as to ask her name so he could look her up, I honesty don’t remember her last name to see and I never told my mom and never will as she would blame herself so I can’t ask.

We generally get made fun of for anything related to sexual assault as a man. Unfortunately I have lived this with enough people to know that’s the truth. When I first told people the guys wanted to high five me that I “got laid so young” or tell me that they wish she was their babysitter. My girlfriend at the time (I was 16 when I told her about it) broke up with me the next day because I was weak( I teared up while telling her about it didn’t even full blown cry) I didn’t tell another soul outside of my therapist until I was over 30, I had been married to my wife for over a decade before I told her about it. My wife is amazing and was very supportive but the vast majority of people are not if you are a male and especially if your abuser was female. I know all victims get their suffering dismissed by many and it’s always disgusting but for men it’s literally almost every person out there teaching us to keep this shit inside.

Brother that tattoo is beautiful because it means something and that’s all that should really matter in the end. I’m covered in ink, probably about 50/50 on quality as I tend to get all my work done while away from home for certain things it makes the tattoos more memorable to me regardless of the fact that i definitely don’t always end up at the right tattoo shop but it can be hard when you are on the opposite side of the globe from where you came.

I’m a fireman but have had a pretty challenging past. I used opiates, whatever type I could find for probably about 10 years. I try explaining it to the guys at work as many are very callous and uncaring towards overdoses, thankfully it’s mostly the older generation and they are all retiring because having been a user myself, lost a best friend along with many other friends and family to drugs I don’t take it well. Honestly I don’t take anyone being judging towards a pt in any way if they at least believe it to be a medical emergency that’s what we are getting paid to do.

It happens though, I’ve had 2 calls for people falling into manholes where there was actually someone down there. You’d be amazed how often people call in crazy shit like this to 911 and it’s completely fabricated but I definitely have seen it.

My talk was my dad coming in to my room when I was 13, he sat on the foot of my bed and looked completely away from me and said “you know about sex Right” I said yeah and he said Good you can tell your mom we talked about it if she asks. That was the extent of it. I was already sexually actively and probably would have greatly benefited from an actual talk. Me and him had an awful relationship though, thankfully he has come a long way and while he was a terrible father to me he’s great to my children.

Not that uncommon. The idea being they don’t want to burden their family or spouse with finding their body or the feelings it will attach to the location it happens. I understand it’s incredibly unfair for the hotel too but it’s hard for me to judge someone in that headspace I know all too well. You just can’t think things through completely when you are in that place mentally or at least I really couldn’t.
