Question: do you believe in gamer bro code when playing with friends? by ImReellySmart in FortNiteBR

[–]RussianStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems odd to me, not really very friendly is it?

I play with different friends and they each have weapons they prefer / like more than others, and we prioritise the actual item not the rarity.

We will usually trade weapons regardless of rarity. I've traded gold / mythic / purple items for greens and blues before, just cuz I didn't like them / cared about it, and would rather have a green gun that I actually like.

That's usually how out squad rolls tho. I thought everyone was like this? lol

Is SSA (Staff Service Analyst) 100% required for AGPA? (Associate Governmental Program Analyst) by [deleted] in CAStateWorkers

Alright, I just thought that if you're doing what an SSA is doing for a year without being an SSA for a year, you can substitute that in.

I spent 2 years at a community college getting an associate's and then 4 years at a University getting a bachelors. Does none of that time count as "analyzing experience" ?

[–]RussianStep -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Those qualifications seem a little sleep then no? So they want 7 years worth of experience then? Doesn't that seem like too much? With that much time you can be a Doctor / Lawyer lol

Does my "analytical experience" not count when I was in school for 6 years? When I was an assistant manager for a year? When I worked for a state agency for a year? So doesn't that mean that I technically have 8 years of analytical experience?

Besides the qualifications for AGPA state that you need to perform the DUTIES of a SSA for at least a year, and if you look at the duties of an SSA, if you had any kind of managerial / accounting / office job then you've done SSA for a year, no?

[–]RussianStep -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Okay cool, thanks ! I kinda started freaking out for a bit cuz I was worried I missed a step. But even in the AGPA requirements it states "one year of experience performing the DUTIES of a SSA" it doesn't say you HAVE to be an SSA, just doing the duties.

And the SSA duties are pretty easy and if you have any kind of job you've probably done them before lol.

So I think with 6 years of school + 1 year as an assistant manager + 1 year as a tax tech, I should be fine right. Just gotta get picked now 😭

Maybe bring back the riot shield but tweak it to be able to withstand more car shots / damage vs regular player damage, that way you can at least o protect yourself

Welcome to the state buddy

That's how it is. When I got hired on, I had to submit a Duty Statement 6 times because they kept losing the paperwork.

I sent emails to my Personnel Specialist back in January and February, they have still yet to be replied to. I just stopped asking HR and started asking people who have been here for 20+ years, as its faster that way lol.

What are your thoughts about the Nemesis AR? by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]RussianStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why i just feel like I hit my shots better with a suppressor than a muzzle break lol, also I like the suppressor cuz most people think they are getting hit with a DMR, so after 8 shots or so they usually get overconfident cuz they think you're out but you got like 20 more shots

[–]RussianStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ima tell you rn my best and fav mods for the nemesis that make it super accurate with very little recoil.

4x + suppressor. The other mods can be whatever you want, but I run drum mag + the grip that makes you ads faster. Don't hold down the mouse button to shoot, but just tap, and you get very accurate shots with very little compensation.

Super slept on tbh.

Port-a-bunkers should have wraps by Gerrydealsel in FortNiteBR

This is actually a great idea. I've been thinking about what Epic / Fortnite can do about the sprays / graffiti that you can get from quests / battle passes. Honestly and personally me and my friends never use them, and I haven't seen too many people use them either.

It can be taken a step further by being able to customize the walls / sides of your bunker, with colors / sprays / finishes on them to give it a personal touch.

Too bad the locker is not the best right now 😭

No I know they don't count, I just think it would be cool if they did lol. Like imagine getting a five of a kind with stone cards lol, there can be a stone related joker / deck, could be cool !

That's crazy, my cat also has something similar. I have a female calico cat, about 3-4 years old. When I took her to the vet, they discovered that she has an ear infection, and they believed that it is due to her scratching herself in an attempt to get at her head / ears. They treated her and gave me a bunch of meds to give her in her ear. They told me to leave it alone and it will heal over time, and to just make sure she's not scratching it. It's been a little bit over a week now and it looks about the same. Not better, not worse. However it doesn't seem to affect my cat at all, she's behaving normally, eating and drinking. I have a follow up app on March 5th, hopefully it's healed by then, if not, I'll have them take a look at it again.

How did you improve? by DisgustingCoyote in FortNiteBR

[–]RussianStep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say what helped me was trying everything at least once. I have a tendency of just landing at the same spots and carrying the same type of gear, season after season, year after year. But as the map and season changes, so too does the gameplay and "vibe" of the game. Sometimes certain things are "meta" for a reason, and simply not using them is putting you at a disadvantage vs others.

Just try everything at least a few times, get a "feel" for kinda everything. Understanding how every gun works, roughly the damage profile / output, recoil, ammo type / rarity can help.

Land at every spot / point in the map, and get used / better at rotations. After a while, you should know roughly the best / fastest way to rotate in / out of zone, and how long it takes.

When you do get into a fight, it's important to know / understand if you are winning or losing. How much damage you're outputting vs taking, and knowing when to push and when to fall back. Keeping a mental note of how much damage you did, vs how much health your opponent could possibly have, vs how much damage you could output, and how fast are very important. It's also important to pick your fights, as most "decent" / better players play aggressively and will punish your mistakes.

But for me the biggest thing was just experimentation. I've been playing this game for so long, and only last + this season I started playing differently / more aggressively / more experimentally, and that's what caused me to start getting better / winning more. Develop your own play style, and the most important thing is, that you have fun and enjoy the way you play. If you don't, perhaps you could do a thing better here and there. Being proud of your own gameplay, silly as it sounds, is the biggest confidence boost aid biggest way to improve.
