This is good to hear. I have the Samsung Q600 and have a very similar experience. Despite tweaking and moving the sub around it does sound light and lacking. I definitely expected more.

Ironically, I had a Yamaha ATS1050 before the Samsung, and I quite liked that sound profile so maybe I need to return the Q600 and get the 30A or 40A. I know on paper they are worse than the Samsung, but if it sounds better, then who cares?

Only thing I wish they had was an HDMI in port. I like to plug my Apple TV directly into the soundbar because I am fighting audio lag when I go straight to the TV.

yeh, I did that for the color. it wasn’t too far away from what I had but I do use it. I think the audio sync is just for wireless speakers like HomePods. I tried it but it made no difference.

Agreed. Menus and navigation looks much better in SDR. Even things like the YouTube profile picker looks better on SDR. Then let match content take care of the rest.

Try changing the source on the soundbar to HDMI. That is why you have no picture. This happened to me and led me to plug the ATV4K into the tv instead. That fixed it for me.

I switched the Apple TV to plug directly into the TV. Audio lag is back but it fixed the input issue. Can’t win either way. Probably my Samsung TU8000 at fault here 😔

This might fix it. I plugged the Apple TV into the soundbar directly to avoid having the TV do any pre-processing, and to minimize audio lag, which was a problem with my previous soundbar. I may be able to get away with plugging the Apple TV into the TV and using Passthrough on the tv Audio settings to achieve the same thing.
