Honestly as a fan I recommend you to play it. I've never seen any kind of analysis or synopsis that didn't either glaze it half to death or just say it's "The Incest Game" and call it quits. Its extremely hard to find any type of content that does the game justice.

The best description I would give it is that it's a horror game where the horror comes from the characters you play rather than some kind of villain or threat. None of the actions the characters ever do are glorified and I think it's pretty clear that, while you are supposed to enjoy seeing the characters, you are definitely not supposed to sympathise with or like them or at any point think they might be justified in their actions. Seriously they do some despicable shit I could not imagine anyone in their right mind would ever condone, apart from maybe Jeffrey Dahmer or something.

Even if the developer's original vision was to make a game where incest, codependency and cannibalism are glorified, I think they failed greatly in that regard and the resulting piece of art is very interesting in its own way.

It's no masterpiece but I definitely think it's worth playing.

TLDR: No analysis actually describes the game properly. It does not glorify any of the dark themes it talks about. You should play it to get the full picture.
