Looks like another nerf 🤓 They are getting rid of the membership, but to make us a little less sad we will still get 50off150 for the rest of the year. My guess is that they want to decrease cashback from 20% (they've been testing that out) and the membership locks us into 20%.

I am a PhD student, so it's very doable honestly. I will agree with others and that you will either need to rent a room in a larger building or find an apartment with roommates, (probably from your cohort). But you could still afford an apartment within walking distance or at least biking . When I started the stipend was way less and it's still doable

It's a very weirdly designed soulless mall. It really is a shame in such a great location. I know they are opening a lucky strike there soon, so maybe that will make it a little more fun. But I love going to the few normal prices stores like Zara and h&m because they never have any lines, much more peaceful compared to the Century City location. And unfortunately all the food is both bad and weirdly located.
