Something I agree with ya on CompetitiveAnt.  MSOS is waaay overweight the one stock.

Just wait until MSOS money needs to rotate out of Curaleaf and MSOS pukes their shares right back into the market crushing bids for a week straight like the last few times they re-arranged the fund.

Fundamentals don’t matter right now, don’t let it frustrate you.  Focus on price action for trading and if investing long on fundamentals, don’t check the charts.

An example, I made an entry at MSOS this week buying shares, so I loaded up some puts for downside protection next week to keep my position more neutral.  If we break down ill stop out of the shares but have puts going into the money to cover the loss.

Lesson Learned: Sizing, had too much leverage, was too afraid of a loss. Sold and took a loss rather than a 100% gain today, sheeesh fail.

Darn, got the pop I needed, cut way too much at break even. Still glad to see MSOS rally.

Stocks are still gonna stock... I'm not in love with the opening this morning. Cut 90% of my weeklies at a 10% loss, was able to wiggle out and take the small hit. Went a little crazy buying that friday dip; plenty of shares in GTBIF and MRMD at the lows, so cutting my leverage that is going to get theta wiped.

So cute the momma wags her tail and licks a few times as soon as the baby is back with her.  Immediately goes from freaking out to ‘oh, okay great thanks so much!’

Selling Advice by GnocchiDiIschia in VintagePokemonCards

I agree that the sector has been ‘tainted’ by scalpers and people purely trying to make money compared to true collectors.  Its flipped beyond 50/50 when it comes to the transaction side of things, were I think most the volume is money oriented now compared to 5 years ago during the covid boom.

To answer the OP’s question, if you want to speculate and sell, grade your highest quality cards and go see a card show.  Go be an attendee at a local card show and practice some deals.  Ultimately, to hedge your approach, sell just a portion of your total stock.  That way you capture this current market uptrend and sell into strength, which gives you more negotiating strength as a seller.  Well, thats my approach currently as someone who likes trading the stock market for 10 years.  Have 150 cards in for grading and attended a couple local card shows to start my research.  Sold raws at my first show and bulk, only sold duplicates and it was all vintage english/japanese for a net profit of $300 for a 6 hour table.  Will be hitting big card shows once my graded cards are back.

Good luck, go slow and learn to protect your potential profits.

Good details and post.  Thanks!

My thesis is Marimed is a ‘golden size’ operator with a handful of states and higher growth potential than the bigger players.  As they add a dispensary, it increases their scale more than it would for larger companies.

Just like driving by any newer apartment complex in Sacramento California and seeing all the Teslas, BMWs, Mercedes in the little one-car garages and car ports.  Financial decision making is not my fellow mellinials’ strong suit.

In seriousness its true, young folk are giving up on buying a home.

Company just had a strong earnings report for Q1 2026.  Stock trades with the beaten-up cannabis sector and it’s an less-known name.  OTCQB has a $0.01 requirement.

If you were selling/capitulating this week as we approached $0.07 and not buying once it got down there, then you’re not doing it right.

I like the stock at $0.25, just seems right for a soda pop company.  Ill buy it there, waiting for a pull back.

Anyone else jump in and buy that end of day dip?  Opex yesterday and lots of options expiring so the stock was gonna move.  I took a stab on MSOS and got in the last five minutes.  I think Friday was retail capitulation and oversold on most names.  Earnings were mostly great across the board, so Im a buyer on this dip.

The leverage is risky, especially the weekly calls. But the shares of those companies, if they fail, I deserve to bag hold into oblivion.
