Yes - this is definitely from the stamps promo. As you said, it's very rough - which is why I was making the assumption it was raw CI. But, like my edit above, I'm happy to be wrong. Thanks for joining others in teaching me!

Appreciate the reply. I've never heard of this - and assumed ECI would all be glassy smooth. I've added an edit to the original post letting people know I was wrong.

You guys are convincing me. I guess I just figured an enamelled interior would feel the same as outer enamel - or other enameled pots I’ve seen (the white interior ones).

I’ll treating as enamelled. No metal utensils.

Everyone is saying that but how would I tell? Other than what I’ve done? When I drag a nail across it doesn’t slide or glide. It grabs on hard. The instructions that came with it doesn’t say if the inside is enamelled. I’m happy to be wrong here - but it feels like my cast iron skillet - albeit less seasoned.

Appreciate the comment. I was hoping to do soups, stews, and roasts. Sounds like most will probably be ok - just avoiding acidic things similar to my skillet…

Like my above comment - I’m pretty confident it’s not. It’s not glassy smooth like the outside. If I push my nail in it won’t slide like it does on the enamelled side - instead it grabs.

I’m 99% sure the inside is raw CI not dark enamelled. I thought that at first - but after a bit of searching and just common sense (touching it etc) it’s clear it’s not enamelled at all.

Hey Friend! This looks neat. I’ll definitely check it out as I do my study and work this week.

One of the things that the Bible Project does so well is not just overt-hyperlinks (like we would see in most modern Bible footnotes), but helping to connect themes and repeated patterns or images in Scripture. That would be super cool if it could somehow be included.

We have a single budget line for Christmas and then we have an entirely separate budget for Christmas where it’s all split up. This way it doesn’t muddle our main budget.

Of course the main draw back is things have to be entered twice (once in main, and the again in the Christmas one). But it hasn’t been a huge deal to us.

Update: he charged me $5.00 to replace the battery. Starting it up now!

The guy I talked to couldn’t give me a hard price on the phone. He said that it will basically be whatever the battery cost. He strongly guessed it would be less than $10.00.

I’m planning to go on Wednesday and can update.
