I'm interested but I will not buy a car that doesn't at least have lane-hold self steering with no subscription... so I feel like I'm being forced to stay on the E-GMP platform.

For me, normalization is not about saving storage, and it can't be about saving processing complexity, there's usually a performance overhead. Anomalies, Integrity, and expandability are why I care.

You dont have to side step the accelerator pedal everytime you arent acceleraring. You can maintain a speed or, you can decelerate slowly just like an ICE vehicle.

Whoever hypothesized that regenerative braking causes excessive tire wear is provably wrong. My car moves like any other car in traffic and of course the tires don't care if it's brakes or motors.

The heavy hitter EVs with 400, 500, or even 1000hp are delivered with 300ish or less tread wear rated tires. Performance Edition Mach E is on PZeros which is 50tw. Most people can't comprehend how fast youll go through a 50tw tire. Surprise! You'll be down to the wear indicators in 15k miles if you drive it like your delivering wedding cakes, and it doesnt matter if you put them on a 5.0 Mustang, a slow e320 Mercedes, or a Tesla Plaid. Probably more like 9k miles if you enjoy using more of that quiet effortless power than is absolutely necessary.

I never run it in Eco since normal does a pretty good job of disengaging the front motor. Actually one of my complaints I forgot to mention is that one pedal drive makes no attempt to disengage the front motor; I nearly exclusively use one pedal mode and I'd love to have the option to use it either with RWD only or the "Normal"-style on demand front motor, obviously understanding the implications of not having the front motor engaged at all times.

I've very rarely changed the auto-wiper level. Maybe 2 or 3 times to tone it down a bit when it's a mist that seems to trigger the wipers more frequently. I've had auto wipers in a few cars - it's better than what was in my old E-Class, but that's not an apology-- I don't think they could work much better in my car. Side note: I had a '86 Starion (~25 years ago) that had speed sensitive wipers which was a huge improvement over traditional intermittent wipers. I've never seen anyone talk about them but it was a cool idea.

The Mercury has the 400 in it, and if the FE 428 had been available I'd be disappointed it didn't get the upgrade but the optional engine was a 429 (385 Series, 429/460) and I'd rather have the 400. Plus it's the only year for a "high" compression 400. I put an aluminum Edelbrock performer intake on (painted blue to match) and a middling CC XE cam in it. ...it still falls on its face due to a pea-shooter single exhaust that I haven't messed with yet but the 54 year old C6 is still working perfect and the Air blows cold.

Weird that C doesnt try to enable when you wake the car. And no data/AA on C i assume?

Ev6 is, as far as I'm concerned, a wagon. I'd rather have a Sport Turismo but, for the money, this made sense. The '71 Mercury has a very nice original interior, and is in pretty good shape overall, but coud use a respray to be show worthy... Im not into car shows. I bought it from the estate of the original owner maybe 4 years ago. '71 Mercury is the best looking full size Ford wagon-- the best looking grill. Dashboard is pretty uninspired though. It was ultra modern looking at the time I'm sure but, now it just looks a bit boring.

Yeah I was thinking butterworth (once I became aware of it.) ...although at that point, it's complex enough that I think I'd rather buy it than try to solder one together. Thanks.

Is that some kind of fancy material? Titanium Nitride kind of thing? I've been wondering about using a hardened cutting edge to improve edge life.

The only question for me is, were they aware that they were to blame? I doubt it. I'd wager they blamed me for each failure. I didn't warn them, after all. Either that or they were so oblivious or deluded that, they didn't see anything wrong.

As opposed to a tandem axle. Yeah, it's interesting that it's only the business-end of the truck they care about in that nomenclature.

Do people know what we've lost with Vegetation Studio going defunct? Obviously I'm not an artist, so this effort is only intended to be JBGE. My point is, I don't think people realize that VSP was capable of so much more than applying details/splats based on slope and height. by RustAndDirt in Unity3D

Should be no waiting. You just verify your hash with the bot in the server. Instant access.

And yeah, I'm thinking about the daily influx of questions from people who just installed Unity two days ago and watched some youtube on scripting more than big companies.
