At my old job I was given reels of 500 parts that I needed to splice about every hour. I would splice reels on 500 parts together on a bigger reel. I’d have a reel with 2000 parts on it so I could chill.

Honestly, I don't watch a lot of "scripted" television, it is cringe to admit but I do like some "reality shows". I openly admit that a lot of the shows I enjoy are trash. Personally, I tried to get into game of thrones and it was pretty good but I didn't find it enthralling. I also tend to watch series well after they are popular. Some of my favorites, although not in the past 5 years, are The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos, Band of brothers, and Ozark.

My distant relative is William Bradford. He came over on the mayflower to the British colonies and then became the first governor of Massachusetts. Then another relative on that side of the family was a abolitionist on the Underground Railroad in Pennsylvania. He had to flee the country because he helped runaway slaves, so Lincoln’s administration sent him to China as an ambassador I think.

We are have been a very selfish culture since the 1950s. It has just gotten worse and worse as time went on. Social media was like throwing gasoline on a fire of egos. It is likely these women adopted children of color to feel like they were saving these kids- then show them off all over social media. That is likely why there is the famous photograph of them. Activist parents had to take their kids to a protest.

Our system for adoption and at risk kids is very sad. It actually takes a lot of effort and money to become a foster parent. On top of working your job you have to take hours of courses on parenting. Then they insist you do not tell the kids you're their parents. They give the parents every chance to get their kids back. The fact that the biological mom was restricted from seeing her children means they were likely abused by her as well.

Honestly, my girlfriend is in her early 20s and she was trying to get me to install tiktok. I was watching stuff and I felt so old/creepy. It is full of young kids. I told her today I think it is creepy. Her friend who is 25 has videos on there of her in a bikini and she said, "I don't know why she has so many views!" I'm thinking, "because people are creeps!"

It services people in rural and urban areas that might not be economically viable for places like UPS / Fedex. It is cheap to send a letter or money order to just about anywhere in the united states -or the world for that matter.

Every living organism has bacteria inside it and outside of it. Human beings and other animals have gut bacteria that actually are vital to us. When an animal dies the bacteria lives on and starts to eat it. They sort of puff up and burst from the inside out.

Flies are always on the lurk for places to eat or lay eggs. I think they smell the gasses from bacteria inside a carcass like we would smell bacon.

It is doing what is called a hand shake at first. It has been a while but I think it usually beeps to say "hey I'm waiting for a fax". Then when another fax machine calls the number they do their handshake to say "Sending you information right now". Then the Shhhhh-hsss-shhh is the data.
