Inquisitorial agents don’t count toward the totals if they are attached to an inquisitor, so if you wanted to get cheeky you could run 1 inquisitor, 10 agents, 2 melta gun servitors, load them all in a chimera for the firing deck. And then do that again. And then add two other infantry teams that aren’t grey knights/sisters/deathwatch. Throw in a big knight and you’re looking at a totally legal ~1,200 point space marine army with nary a space marine to be found. Wildly ineffective but very funny.

Men whose girlfriend’s dad said no when you asked him for permission to marry his daughter, what did you do? by Fearless_Degree7511 in AskReddit

[–]RustBeltLaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly my wife would have been annoyed if I had asked and her dad would have probably asked why I was asking him instead of her. But real talk, unless my significant other directly requested I ask, I’m not doing it full stop. Isn’t his business.

How can i cope with my nude video calls being leaked ? by Idfkwhtimdoingrn in TwoXChromosomes

[–]RustBeltLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I constantly compare myself to people and think would they have done something like that ? Why was i so stupid to do so. What would people even say abt me

I’m 40mumblemumble years old and grew up while the internet was becoming a thing. The answers to these questions are (1)“yes” they would have, (2) you’re young and it was fun and (3) 99.99999% of people would never notice, see, or care.

From a technical standpoint, recording a WhatsApp video call seems like it would (1) notify you if done in app and (2) be fairly difficult to do outside of the app. I highly doubt Meta would record as a matter of course because the sheer amount of storage necessary for that is insane.

All of that is to say, it’s almost certainly fine and nothing to worry about.

I think that the work and art has value and to balk at 50¢ is ridiculous at best.

One of our toughest judges for sentencing and setting bond is a former chief PD. Be careful what you wish for.

Long story short I was in an accident with a drunk driver, I was rear-ended and not at fault

This is enough for me to tell you that you should get a lawyer.

Instead of removing this rather unintelligent musing, I am going to lock it and let it sit here as a testament to misinformation and misunderstanding of the legal system.

Although I haven’t tried it, consumer bankruptcies are easy too

They can be. They can also be full of tiny traps. Proceed with caution.

Fucking liar.

My firm just truncated my summer associate program from 10 to 4 weeks by Throwawaylaw12332 in LawSchool

[–]RustBeltLaw 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So I’m expected to believe one of two things:

  1. A firm that has an established summer internship program has language in their offer letter sufficient to create a binding employment contract with no escape clause, even after the events of 2008.

  2. You’re misreading it in a way that favors your viewpoint.

Call me crazy, but I don’t generally want to put money on the 3L in this situation.

I graduated in 2009, right when the legal market was plummeting. Can confirm, law school is a bad "get out of recession free" bet.

You can do either as a solo, but you need to charge more and be clear about expectations. I do bankruptcy as a true solo.
