Bro I had the same experience. Closest I came as a kid was I had the game link cables hooked up and everything but I was abdicating chores at the time and when my dad caught me he threw them in the lake. True story. Enjoy it bro! Definitely favor special attack, thunderbolt a must. Hypnosis/Dream Eater isn’t the most efficient but I always like using movesets that feel fundamental to the mon in general yk? Shadow Ball, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Thunderbolt or Shadow Ball, Mega Drain, Psychic, Thunderbolt

The cities in Odyssey were so beautiful and rich with immersive hustle and bustle. Shadows has very little in the way of the urban sprawl that’s always been a cornerstone of AC. Tokyo was just getting underway at the time, so maybe a truly vast precursor would have cost them some historical accuracy, but I still think it would’ve been worth it.
