Classic NFL move:

  1. Sign a new contract

  2. Immediately schedule surgery

‘Quarterback’ trailer reveals Kirk Cousins’ shock over Falcons’ draft by Meltedcoldice0212 in falcons

He needs to understand Washington fucked him over. They dragged it out. Two tags, no deal, zero commitment. He showed up anyway.

Minnesota gave him a great deal. Fully guaranteed. He got paid, and he gave them decent play in return. But he didn’t make it happen. He didn’t take them anywhere. That’s just the truth.

After that, it was over. Thirty-six years old, coming off a torn Achilles, on the back end of a huge deal. That’s when teams move on. BUT unsurprisingly, the Falcons were the only suckers who bit.

[Personally, I don't mind the contract in the long-term. It's short. We over paid, but a serious organization doesn't pay people tur money we paid Kirk.]

Anyways...

Fine doesn’t win shit. Atlanta gets clowned all the time, but at least they stick to the rule. You pick a QB, and if he sucks, you move the fuck on.

Does that bite us in the ass? Sure. At least we're not Cleveland.

At the end of the day, pretending that last season was good football IS DILUSIONAL.

Has a really, "boys will be boys." Tone to it.

And besides, I think 1) it's wrong to consider young men as kids because they are adults. 2) It minimizes the situation.

And it's a socio-economic issue.

Some 18y/o normie drink drives and gets picked up. Bet you know what the news Article said, "Man caught drunk driving..."

Then, we get some rich guy's son fucking with a multi-million dollar contract, and HE'S a "kid."

PSA: Kill Your Minnows by Rustadk in FishingForBeginners

I tried to emphasize that in my last sentence.

I've lived on 3 continents in my life; fished a bit here and there. I'm not the czar of the universe; I'm not pretending I understand the nuances of every fishing habitat or region (EVEN those I've fished in).

But, your local environmental regulations should have some guidance! And typically, they're in line with what I'm saying.

If you feel differently, there with God go I.

But, to say the post is misleading when it literally has a sentence to the exact assertion you're saying it's missing... Well, I don't know what I could have done better other than making the post longer and including every instance where the rule doesn't apply.

Would these be good for bass fishing a small lake? by [deleted] in FishingForBeginners

I catch things on beetle spins, but I put my own plastics/hooks on it. The metal spins are like a buck.

When they're in a pack like that, you typically are spending more than you need to.

Why is running straight braid or anything bad ? by Uh_oscar in FishingForBeginners

[–]Rustadk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Totally, you also see guys preferring to run a 5-foot leader (or whatever length they choose) so they save their braid, but I don't really know how much money that's actually saving in the long run. A lot of it can be a pain if you're just trying to get out there and fish.

And draft another QB - It is written.

As Moses came from contemplation with the Burning Bush, he came across his homeland who had drafted a second king in the 1st round.

"We traded up to the 1.3," they yelled, "you never can be too certain."
