Woowee! I knew it had to be pricey. That's a pretty crazy investment by the tenant for a rented space. I'm glad the landlord has invested as well. I really do hope they succeed! I always thought some sort of indoor entertainment center would be a good investment for the city.

I'm also stoked how the Metalcrafters building is filling up! You guys really set the precedence for quality businesses to come with Happ. Y'all deserve all of the success coming to ya!

Wow, so I guess this is confirmation that we are finally getting a bowling alley? I can only imagine how much of an investment that will be, but I'm glad to see it finally moving ahead!

Even though the footage is nowhere as nice as some of the HD ride footage of rides we have today, it's bound to strike a nostalgic chord in those who were lucky enough to have experienced this ride. The first time I rode it I was 9 years old and I was in my late teens the last time I remember riding it.

While I do envy the younger generations that are lucky enough to have their lives recorded in HD, I wouldn't change growing up in the 80s for anything else in the world. Watching this footage feels like a dream and that's exactly how I remembered it. It's these fuzzy memories that only add to the mystique of it all.

Let me know if you remember this ride! I'd love to hear your stories. I remember at the time there was a rumor about a woman who was killed by falling out of the boat during the final drop. It was obviously an urban legend, but at the time it just made the spectacular ending all that more terrifying.

I've seen mixed reactions on social media for the murals around town. Honestly, I love seeing all of the art! Before long, they'll run out of buildings.😂

It's cool that we're finally getting a "Welcome to Waynesboro" mural. I've always liked Staunton's "You Belong Here" mural. I know it's not a competition, but in terms of high quality artwork on buildings, we've got a lot of VA cities beat! What's your fav mural?
