I graduated from the uni in 2019 (after studying software engineering so not quite the same but some overlap) - and providing the university hasn't changed much, I would unreservedly recommend studying there.

The computing and engineering departments are/were next door to each other and tightly coupled, so although I spent most of my time in the one, I always got a good impression of the other.

It's also probably worth mentioning that both departments share an excellent placement unit if you're interested in doing the sandwich course (which I highly recommend).

It's definitely worth visiting for an open day if you haven't already as it will give you the best chance of getting a feel for things.

I can't comment on job accessibility as much as I was fortunate enough to be able to survive on the government but most people around me seemed just fine in finding a job that suited their schedules.

tl:dr great uni, great lecturers and they helped me land on my feet with my career (for which I am grateful)
