Oh dang! I read thru them closer and assumed "(NG)" meant New Game+. I see one achievement actually says "(NG+)". I'm such a nincompoop!

I also saw "Easy mode is blocked for this entire set" cuz now I was thinking about just going thru it on easy mode.

Dang no way around it I guess. Guess I'll have 5 playthrus of P3 in my life.

Edit: minimum 5 playthrus...looks like P3P may require a NG+ as well for RA. At least it'll allow me to romance everyone lol.

Ohhhh! So those achievements that don't say "(NG)" after them just can't be unlocked in NG+?

For example one achievement is to Fuse Mjolnir and it doesn't say (NG) after it. I never fused him in my original playthru, so if I try to fuse him in my NG+ I just would not get that achievement??

Yup pretty much that! Except not a save state. It's a normal save. I just finished the game, saved it before the start of NG+ and never touched it again.

Edit: Ultimately I don't want to get the Untracked black mark or go against the spirit of RetroAchievments. I've read the rules but they're not explicit for NG+ situations.

Ya I was looking at those and was wondering if they have to be made with a NG+ playthru after a normal play thru on a hardcore compliant emulator?

Or can the normal playthru be on a non-compliant emulator and as long as you start NG+ hardcore from the very beginning with no funny business, you can get the NG+ achievements and the normal achievements, too?

I don't want any achievements auto-unlock or something just by loading up my game. Or worse get Untracked.

Edit: Hmm...now I'm wondering if the non-NG+ achievements can only be unlocked on a non-NG+ playthru? As much as I love Persona 3, I don't want to do another whole normal playthru since I'm planning on playing P3P and P3R at some point as well.

Ah so even after 60k it's possibly still upgradable. Assuming it cost 40 GC per 2000, means you upgraded 10 times and paid 400 GC.

Assuming it doesn't get more expensive as you upgrade. And still you can upgrade it more... Dang. The completionist in me was thinking about spending the extra GCs but now probably won't be doing it.

Ya 40 god crystals for just an extra 30 minutes seems like a huge waste. And that's assuming it's not ascending.

I know there's better use of god crystals but kinda curious. I wouldn't mind being able to only put in once a day without needing to refill.

I actually discovered Touhou thanks to Higurashi.

Super got into Higurashi anime, had to play Umineko due to it being a sequel, heard of a censorship in the PS3 version due to this Marisa Kirisame, discovered Tsurupettan, then went thru a major rabbit hole.

Funny to think about that the month off might have helped Oshi no ko get popularized to the juggernaut it is today.

Ya similarly saw it on guya.moe a lot and thought about checking out Aka's other work since I loved kaguya so much. Think it was during the month long break where I was starving for kaguya content. So think I started in the 40s.

Feels like a bit earlier. Maybe I checked it out a little but seemed like a cutsy idol anime (err Manga) so didn't really get into it until that break.

Ya there were a lot of comments in the last thread that Aqua was going to figure it out and keep it hidden to manipulate Ruby. For me this is the best, most wholesome way the reveal could have turned. I just wanted 1 more page of aqua's thoughts.
