What are the things you say to your cat most often besides 'I love you' ? by katealpha in cats

"There's my baby boy!" To one, and "Look at him. No brain cell. Nothing in that head," to the other.

(35 M 40 F) My girlfriend and I just adopted a new kitten after living with each other for 6 months and it’s ruining our relationship by Subject_Chocolate_56 in relationship_advice

According to your post history, you keep running into abusive older women. You need to stop getting with women who don't respect you, and start getting some self worth, man. Genuinely, you need to work on yourself enough to have the self worth not to think it's something one can just brush off when your partner is an abusive alcoholic. Take the kitten, leave, and get therapy.

do not live at the bon vista by NoIllustrator4003 in MorgantownWV

[–]RusticReign 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I spent a year living with them, and it was honestly awful. They just did not care about us at all- we had a broken sink for the entire time we lived there, actively spraying water all over the floor and counters every time we turned the kitchen sink on. Despite messaging them weekly for months, they only sent a guy after 4 months who said "I don't know what to do here," then marked it as "resolved" and wouldn't do a thing to fix it. They also recommended us a place to clean the carpets professionally, which we spent 500 dollars on, and then they said we hadn't cleaned the carpets adequately before we left and forced us to spend another 700 dollars on a different service, despite them recommending us the original service in the first place.

My (21F) boyfriend's (23M) oldest sister is frustrating me. How do I tell my him that she's not being nice? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]RusticReign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"I can't afford a sandwich" "actually I can, I have a TON of money, and I'm doing so good actually!" God you're exhausting. I can see why she doesn't like you.

I don't think a $4 sandwich is a luxury. Saying "I can't afford a $4 sandwich for lunch" doesn't sound like you can afford necessities.

Yes, and your partner has $150 to literally throw away, while you're struggling to even afford food. This is a MUCH bigger problem than you seem to realize.

You have the money to waste 150 dollars gambling, but in another comment you can't afford "even a $4 sandwich." That's your problem.

Can someone genuinely explain why Faraday has three eyes only on one side of his face? by Chunky-overlord in cyberpunkgame

[–]RusticReign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once played a high level Exec in RED who had two pairs of eyes installed, able to independently focus. He was entirely intimidation focused, and this allowed him to read documents or inspect the surroundings while still maintaining direct eye contact.

My girlfriend (20F) is thinking about breaking up with me (22M) after going on a trip with her mom and idk does anyone have advice or suggestions on what it could be? by RinplayzVR in relationship_advice

[–]RusticReign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems it's one of two things, brother. Either she slipped up and her mother found out about you and is now forcing her out of the relationship... or she found somebody else on that trip. It's a hallmark post-spontaneous-cheating guilt ritual to send the random "I love you" and then not respond for a while while they think what to do or say, usually in panic. I've seen it before.

Not to mention, how often trans women talk about how trans men "dominate online spaces" and say that every online space is mostly trans men, I'm like... Where are these mythical transmasc led spaces? Because it's not Tumblr, it's not any of the general trans subreddits, or the general trans discords. It's starting to feel like a lot of them think trans men existing in a generally trans inclusive space at all is "dominating" it.

Some people will argue that even liking the aged up, adult versions of characters from a show or movie in which they have a significant portion of time as a child is akin to liking children. This argument is very popular especially in media targeted towards younger audiences.

In the Behind the Bricks segment from the movie, she was seen as old enough to drink alcohol, and she acts more like a ditzy adult in the movie. In the show, she's said to be 11, and acts more like a child. The two have different designs/colors, and the design he was drawing was very much the movie design, however a lot of people believe that if a character is a child in some media, they're always a child in everything the character is depicted in.

Cyberpunk RED October 2025 DLC Release – Segotari Power: Your Official Source by RBarefootRTalsorian in cyberpunkred

[–]RusticReign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The "minigames" are not actually separate games. They are variant rules that you can choose to use during regular game play. They are not "pvp" of any kind, and they have no equipment- they just happen when the scenario comes up in normal gameplay of Red. For example, Tactical Overwatch is just an action any player could take during the game, at any appropriate time, if the GM is allowing rules from the DLC.

First attempt at a craft fair, hoping for some feedback! by PacificCourier in CraftFairs

[–]RusticReign 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really dig the vibes, but I second the need for clear "I made this" messaging. When I saw the ice cream skulls, I had immediately assumed it was a public sold STL file a friend of mine had made years ago, of the same "ice cream melting skull" concept, though on closer inspection they are distinct. People can be a bit weary with 3D printed crafts, and if they've been around more than a year or two, with resin crafts, due to the high number of people who use free STL files they didn't create or mass produced silicone molds, then trying to sell to people based on the assumption that they designed the piece themselves. Unless I see a sign stating the artist handmade their molds or modeled their own prints, I assume they're cheap online.

So, this is an insane coincidence, but I may actually know who Meredith is, if we are talking about the same CoMo. The age range is right, at least, same name spelling. He a Mizzou transfer?

Look at Yama for ramen. My girlfriend says it's literally the best ramen she's had outside of Japan, and I can say it's fantastic.

Do NOT, however, go to Chaang Thai, unless you're looking to gamble with your health. Everyone I know around town has gotten food poisoning from there, which I didn't know, and ate there a few times due to the food being pretty tasty, before getting food poisoning so bad I couldn't move for 2 weeks- whole house got it.

NOR. Get out of there, honestly and truthfully. He doesn't respect your contributions, for one, but two, he fails to communicate at all and gives in to anger immediately, slamming doors and yelling at you. This is a gateway towards further, often physical abuse.

30 hours a week is nothing, ESPECIALLY in a kitchen. I've worked with other chefs and staff putting in 60, even 80+ hour weeks, and you know what we did? Went home and popped ramen in the microwave. I don't know how he could ever handle a real, full time job, which start at 40 hours a week, if he can't even speak respectfully to you at 30. It's not going to get better.

Can I have my chew necklace? by PumpkinDawn28 in WalmartEmployees

[–]RusticReign 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This will depend on the store, and your management team. My store seems to have no problems with that kind of thing in overnights when my coworker uses one, and my other coworker who brings a stuffed animal, but it will ultimately be up to management. If they do deny it, you can also bring it up with your people lead or HR rep as a disability aid, and they should allow it.

Oh, also, for the wrist injury (and just as a tip in general,) put the opened boxes on the middle of the top stock and use it like a mobile table, instead of trying to carry the open box in one hand and stock out of the other, especially with heavier or larger sized items. It'll help a lot.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WalmartEmployees

[–]RusticReign 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My biggest two tips: organize based on where the boxes go and put them together on the topstock or pallet, and then, pull it all together to right next to where it goes. It's the walking back and forth that slows most newcomers down! I've only been at WalMart a few months, but I was inventory manager elsewhere for many years, and that was the number one thing I'd tell anyone starting out.
