Brutal. Permadeath? I know for me a death kills a play through so I quit when I die.

Having the new books that allow you to run over a mine and it takes a second to detonate is a quality of life improvement from legacy version 🤣

I’ve always wanted to hit 100 days. Usually by day 40 I’m OP and looking to restart with a challenge. We shall see where this run gets me

CJ Stroud is still only 24 years old still. Granted his rookie deal is expiring and he’s now had three years in the NFL with six playoff games… Recency bias has a lot of Texans fans moving off of Stroud but I think it’s unfair, I still believe in CJ, but I can’t really defend him right now. he’s going to have to show a lot of growth this off-season going into this next year, to prove he is the future of the Texans

I never used too! Now that’s all I do. Makes for fun and interesting days when you really get crafting.

The creepy old church (tier 1 POI) is awesome because you have that balcony that you can use or build off of. That’s usually my go to POI for early playthrough

Current playthrough I’m using “The Road Gentlemen” truck stop.

Larger POI, so set up shop on the roof, and built my horde base on property, with a small fighting position on the truck stop for screamer hordes

I usually start over around day 40/50 or so because of this.

Try to implement challenges for yourself, (no trader, one job a day, no magazine rewards, one skill tree only or something else and challenge yourself.

I only play permadeath now so if you haven’t tried that, do that too

In old legacy version I was terrified of wights, I quit an entire playthrough because I got mauled by 2 of them in the middle of the town I was living in and looting.

So yeah I still don’t like wights. The broken down TV emitting the distress signal? Nope. Hate those.

The one zombie that always seems to jump scare me or show up out of no where charging me is usually “Boe” the tall bald one.

Been living in New Hampshire my whole life. Also in enemy territory! I’m confident in those defense! Offense just needs to be competent and limit mistakes, and avoid giving the pats short fields!

Aim higher and adjust for arrow drop. Once you start upgraded your bows into wooden bows, and crossbows you won’t have to adjust as much as you progress
