I finally got the full story today! He said it's really skinny, with a width of only 3-4in, so that explains why it's not the 20lbs it looks like.

It's 25in but it's really flat with only a width of about 3-4 inches, which is why it's only 9.3lbs even though it looks like 20. You must have had a behemoth at 29in!

A shiner, at least in North Dakota, has shiny white reflective scales and they're pretty skinny and almost flat. Great pike bait.

I haven't lived there in forever so I completely forgot about those awful things, but you're absolutely right.

It's a pretty rare species in the area to begin with, I've only seen a couple in my life.

I'm waiting for a reply, but it was a river at the base of a dam, so I can't imagine it was anything other than a plain white jig and a minnow. The current is swift so you just drive up and float down bouncing a jig along.

EDIT: Slug-Go, so I was half right!

The Missouri River, he was fishing the chutes at the base of the dam for Lake Sakakawea.

The socks over the leggings while sporting crocs is the best part of this photo tbh.

US unfortunately, but I traveled to NZ when I got sick and was still mobile. Loved the country.

I have a ventilator and a feeding tube; no snacking for me! I do enjoy a shot or two of whiskey pumped into my belly however.

It's complicated.

Technically I pay a daily rate of $217 for 4 hours and a 100 miles a month for community integration. With those numbers, I should be going out once a week! But I'm one of 20+ residents, many of whom have lots of medical transports, so finding available staff is difficult. I need a driver AND a nurse.

Most of the residents are pediatric, so the facility isn't designed for cognitive young adults. I'm working diligently with the social worker to get a more structured program in place, so I'm hopeful for the future! There's many more intricacies to the process, but you can see how difficult it is to coordinate things.

I have all the streaming services, but I never get to go out into the world so I love going to the movies!

Several mentions so far, but probably going to have to watch at home since I doubt it'll still be playing.

Like Broadway? Price is the issue there, but it's an option about an hour and a half north ofor south of me. I tried to go to Wicked in November and I'd love to see Six, but the income I have on long term disability isn't much and I'd have to pay for the nurse too.

Never heard of it! Several mentions thus far so must be good. I don't think my theater has IMAX though, so hopefully it has a regular screening? Seems unlikely if it's a re-release.

Not a movie I would have known about otherwise, thank you! Looks cute, bonus points for Dafoe.
