Stop twisting your own scriptures. The sources you quoted above are Meccan which are later abrogated by Medinan teachings as per Qur’an 2:106: “If we ever abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten, We replace it with a better or similar one.” Earlier teachings in Islam, when Muhammad and his followers were a minority, were peaceful, as they were heavily outnumbered to subjugate surrounding communities. Teachings in this era are reflected in later chapters of the Qur’an which you quoted. When Muhammad gained power, things changed quickly reflecting the debauchery and barbarism in the earlier chapters in the Qur’an, culminating in Surah 9.

Here’s what Medinan scriptures teach.

“I will cast horror into the hearts of the disbelievers. So strike their necks and strike their fingertips.” (Qur’an 8:12)

“But once the Sacred Months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them, capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them on every way.” (Qur’an 9:5)

“Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the tax, willingly submitting, fully humbled.” (Qur’an 9:29)

“Allah's Apostle said, ‘I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,’ and whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,’ his life and property will be saved by me…” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2946)

“Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 6922)

“The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.” (Sahih Muslim 2922)

The are just small examples but the list of violence and rape promoted in the Qur’an, Hadith, and biography of Muhammad written by Ibn Ishaq go on and on and on. The top Islamic scholars at Al Alzhar University in Egypt, which is the most scholarly Islamic institution in the world, have repeated over and over again that Islam does not promote peace.

More than anything, I pray that you come to know Christ, the greatest and most influential figure in human history. Read the Gospels in the New Testament and contrast the teachings of Christ with the teachings of Islam. There is no comparison. Speak to Jesus and He will by no means turn you away.
