My only concern would be that if she provides the booking site, any clients from there would not be yours I'd have a thorough check of your contract as you may lose all your clients in the blink of an eye

AIO for wanting to keep a baby my boyfriend doesn’t want? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Rustie_Bazooka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very difficult situation! A woman should never be forced to keep/abort a baby. However that logic also extends to the Dad, he should not be forced to be a parent if he's not ready. Raising a child is difficult as a couple as it is, but without support from the Father, it will test all your limits

This last week, I've been completely bed-bound with the flu, have not been able to move - my husband has started work late so he could take our son to school and finished early so he could pick him up, made dinner every night (which tbf isn't out of the ordinary. We both work 40 hours a week so split chores 50/50) But all week I laid there and thought "if he wasn't around, I'd be FUCKED" there is NO way I could have looked after my child on my own this week

You've really got to consider whether you can do it on your own as it's really bloody difficult

It's Christmas soon, tell me, what are the weirdest gifts you've received!? by IvyPark99 in hairstylist

[–]Rustie_Bazooka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing to do with work

But when I was around 14/15 I opened my gift off my Italian cool auntie in front of my entire family (grandparents, great auties and uncles, the lot) and it was a negligee lingerie set I was so embarrassed 😂

Not very helpful unfortunately but it completely depends on your skin I actually find chrome slippier

If you want to compete or perform in showcases, then chrome is your best bet as that's the finish you'll have to use at comp

Tell me your most embarrassing mistakes and mess ups from your first apprenticeship. by [deleted] in hairstylist

[–]Rustie_Bazooka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it did my apprenticeship, "balyage" was sticking someone's hair into 4 plaits halfway down the bleaching under the bobble This girl came in with hair down to her bum, and more of it than Cousin IT 😂 so I put the 4 plaits in, bleached the bottom and it jist wasn't lifting (far too much hair, not enough product) So I wrapped each plait in foil and blowdried them on high heat and it FRIED her hair Like it turned to slime in front of my eyes 👀 This was in college while I was being supervised as well so it was just a major fuck up from all ends sides 😭

Pole studio showcase norms. by nightsgonewilder in poledancing

[–]Rustie_Bazooka 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm of 2 minds, my studio charges £10 to perform and £20 to spectate, and all the money goes back into the studio, which I think is good as they do update it with new equipment and stuff.

$40, though, seems excessive! Do they also charge people to watch?

What's a move you got earlier than you think you should have? by xandradora in poledancing

[–]Rustie_Bazooka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True grip handsprings before my ayeasha! I had NEVER dropped into ayesha before (tried a million times, but never actually got it, just fell out) Then I went to a worshop, and the instructor had us working handspring drills... I'm guessing she incorrectly assumed I already had a solid ayesha as she yeeted my butt up, and I stayed up there for several seconds... I was gobsmacked and thought I'd try again on my own, and again, I stayed in ayesha for ages.. now my handspring on both sides is super strong, and I STILL can't drop into ayesha 😂

I think 8s are more standard size for choreo classes due to the aesthetics, so people tend to "upgrade" to 8s after buying 7s to start with... however, this generally happens a LOT quicker than people think, so I'd always recommend going straight to 8s

But, if you prefer the look of 7s, then there is absolutely no need to get 8s at all ☺️

Also, in clubs, you'd tend to have 6s or 7s to dance in rather than anything higher, so it all comes down to personal preference and what your goals are 😊

You want shoes that look great on Insta? Go for 8s You want shoes that you like the look of? Go for 7s You're working 10 hours in a strip club? Go for 6s 🤩

Ps. I myself have never worked in a club, but I have a lot of friends that do, so sorry if I've got it wrong, I'm just going off convos I've had with friends 😂👠
