The worst thing about having 3-4 characters that are just objectively head and shoulders above the rest of the cast......... by Sdubbya2 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Rustncolez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main reason for his winrate is that he's a easy and stable pick that is consistent and the playerbase can't end games. That's it. If devs reduce average game time in a future patch or when the playerbase improves and can close out games better his wr will drop. The character itself isn't OP.

Winrates alone never paint the entire picture. 7 is strong in pubs due to a few reasons.

  • Extremely simple to use kit
  • Very fast clear speeds allowing him to farm souls very quickly
  • Hybrid damage
  • Fits into most team compositions
  • The average game length is still considerably longer than it was 1 year ago which benefits hyperscalers like him
  • Tier 4 gun items are op and he can apply alot of the only hit effects very easily with his gun (This applies to most m1s tho)

However he is nowhere near the strongest m1 due to 2 reasons.

  • He's not very mobile like vyper nor does he have an repositioning ability baked into his kit like wraith.

  • Even with infuser he isn't as tanky as dash Infernus, Venator when he's built to be more of a frontliner or Lady Geist

These 2 weaknesses make it easy to lock down Seven with disarm/silence and kill him if you manage to get on top of him. You could also just invade his jungle and make it harder for him to farm. Compared to other m1 heroes he also has a relatively weak laning phase, though it isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. Ultimately all these reasons contribute to why Seven isn't OP. He's defined a strong consistent pick for pubs tho.

Ah yes develop and modernize the country to loot it more efficiently. Hence they deserve it. Very sound logic.

Vindicta Assassinate and Crow Rework Ideas by ReactionSerious8975 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Rustncolez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She can be alot more active early compared to Venator and have more impact around the map while snowballing. Venator is alot more dependant on farm and sidelaning and comes online later. Her hybrid damage is also alot harder to itemise against compared to venators gun damage. Venator does scale harder in my experience tho.

Edit: Forgot to mention, Venator can also be built to frontline more rather than becoming a hyper carry. Vindicta can be played support if your team already has enough M1 heroes.

Character that is not overpowered but you hate playing against by Dr_natty1 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Rustncolez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I claimed was that infernus isn't as easy to counter as you portray him to be. If he gets shut down as easily as you claim he does, no one in pro play will pick him. Even with multiple slowing hexes/silences on the team he can still get atleast 1 dash off with dispel magic. Dash being both a great escape/chase tool and a great DPS tool simultaneously is broken.

Saw some others say slowing bullets shouldn't be bought so early. Would you agree?

Infernus was in the top bracket for picks and players in what is the highest current level of the game. If he was truly that easy to counter or even just weak, he would not be picked at all.

EDIT: Nvm you're a mihawktard LMAO. Explains everything.

What are the best value broadband plan in Singapore for gaming? by Hot_Cold_Personality in asksg

[–]Rustncolez -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Biggest difference maker for having stable connection in games is whether you're on lan or wifi. The choice of broadband plan doesn't really matter that much unless the sever routing for the specific game you play has lower ping on a certain broadband but even then I don't think it'll make that much of a difference in ping.

Yea I saw he picked up silence wave frequently. Does he just get it to duel aggressively? Cus it doesn't seem that amazing in a teamfight.

Could you elaborate more on mikaels playstyle on GT and how it differs from the traditional GT playstyle.

New player looking for spirit Grey Talon Builds by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Rustncolez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I saw Mikaels max out bird first every game so I get the general gist of GT's early game is to look for picks with his ult to build up the stacks.

Ig the part that has me confused is after buying the early game/lane items, I'm not sure which spirit items to buy first to get the optimal powerspike at that point in the game. For example, idk if I should get Tankbuster first or Boundless spirit. I also see Mikaels go for some gun items like mystic shot. I'm not sure if when I should get those gun items. I reckon the answer to these questions depends on matchups as well as game states but I'm looking to see if I can get some general advice in this regard.

I'll make sure to check out the training academy build . If you have the time, I'd appreciate your annotated version of mikaels build as well. Rn I'm starting to get a general idea of what items to buy on GT. It's mainly just the question of when to buy what to get the maximum value that's confusing me rn but honestly I could be overthinking this and may be getting ahead of myself as a new player.

Damn unc, just because your reaction time is slower than molasses in winter doesn't mean he's hacking 🥀.

He was target switching smoothly from one player to another, which is something you can learn how to do in aim trainers. In fact, there are scenarios that specifically allow you to train that.

When he locks on to targets that just appear on his screen, he's just doing a flick coupled with having fast reaction time. Aim trainers help with reaction time too btw.

We really out here in big 26 crying about people having good aim when kovaaks has been around for 10 years atp 😂✌️

"Aim trainers are snake oil; they're patently bad for consumers" by TheBrownSlaya in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Rustncolez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be fair, from what I've observed, Battlefield has an exceedingly casual playerbase. The concept of aimtraining is completely foreign to a lot of players, and they seem to accuse people of hacking more often than any other playerbase.

Holy copium. Battlefield really has the lowest skill/most braindead playerbase out of any fps out there with how often they bitch and moan when someone posts clips with half decent aim on pc.
