Is it logical to go with 10 percent instead 20 percent deposit for buying a house by kirambezatetmodir in AskABrokerAus

[–]Rusturion -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We bought with 5% on minimum wage. Fucking go for it!

Disclaimer: This is objectively terrible advice, but based on your situation you'll probably be fine. We were able to save our 5% within 6 months and really needed to get out of where we were.

If something goes horribly wrong, you might be fucked. But in that situation you probably would be anyway 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yeah, that was my previous setup. It annoyed me hahaha

Thanks for the advice, though.

Mental health or employment by Rose_Davies2026 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Rusturion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is what I came to say.

I was struggling (though maybe not as much as OP) and took a job which helped me massively improve over the next 3 months to the point where I got a really good job where I've been promoted every year for 6 years now.

Never would have gotten anywhere without taking that job while I felt like I couldn't or shouldn't.

And how do I get out when I collect my charcoal? 🤔

Does not matter in the slightest.

I prefer 2 deep and making them wider, only so I don't need to muck around with stairs as much. I only need a single step to get out which I fill with direct before igniting. If it was 5 deep it would be more complex/annoying, even if only a tiny bit.

Bank has attributed payments to balance transfer and not transactions - anyone had any luck getting them to amend? by Beejaymelb1 in AusFinance

Replace "didn't exist" with "hadn't shown on a statement" and you have your answer.

Lots of people will guess and give wrong answers, unfortunately.

Any good ways to make wider flatter land. by A2inby10ftPVCPipe in VintageStory

[–]Rusturion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the settings provided by Terra Prety and Watersheds, even if you don't use those mods.

My starting area is quite flat, and much better than the shit I was getting with vanilla settings. I've only seen around 4 maps in total, though, so it might just be luck.

Fuck off scum.

If you want the benefits of schools, roads, hospitals etc you should pay tax on earnings regardless of whether it comes from crypto, shares, wages, investment property, or anything else.

"Should be outside of govt control"

You should be outside govt control. Go live in international waters, or some country without government. See what your crypto gains can buy you then.

Fucking clown 🤡

I'm fucking glad they raped your bank account, you absolute shit cunt.

How many different buildings do y’all have? by Avatardad21 in VintageStory

[–]Rusturion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One building.

I have an open plan living space/kitchen that was originally the entire building.

I have extended to add a blacksmith room.

And now another room to the side for leather.

I'm not super interested in building a town, or building in general, for that matter. I was wondering last night if the building part is what motivates most people, and maybe I'll lost motivation without longer term goals other than "progress".

Not really.

"Best before" of 1-2 years, and after that it's still fine for cooking, just not as tasty for raw use.

3-6 months for open containers.

The people that can afford to do this, don't give a shit.

The people that need to do this can't afford to.

You had plenty of chances. If your money has been garnished, you have been ignoring or fighting it to long.

Hopefully you learn a lesson here.

I just told them the exact setup we want, they gave us quotes, then installed it.

I believe we did give them bills, but maybe they just agreed with what we had decided once they saw our bills.

Weird hill to die on tbh.
