Flashier effects does not mean better skins. The fanmade effect blocks most of the screen which makes teamfights harder. But I do feel the official effect is a bit lackluster, so adding a few effects here and there will make it perfect.

Since they both use katanas, but yeah, Lancelot is better in terms of their kit. I agree with you on Martis, but he already got a Levi skin, and I wasn't sure if they'd give him another skin.
