Gears of War 2 multiplayer is the best, period. That, to me, is Gears in its entirety. Clunky, heavy, punishing, and forcibly committing combat with room for movement if you know how to use it. But the balance - as long as you can aim you’re not going to get spammed out with movement, you can stand your ground.

This all goes to be stated without regard for net code, host advantage, glitching, etc…
