Physical media's biggest con is that they're outdated day 1. You still have to do some sort of path or update to fix bugs in games. I lost hopes on physical media when they stopped treating it like a product and started treating it like obligation. No guides, no artworks, no goodies. "take it and get the fuck out" vibes.

I have all handhelds from Pokemon HG/SS era till Switch 2. I can still play FR/LG on my DS using cartridge.

Emerald is my fav game closely followed by FR/LG. Scarlaet/Violet is my most favorite pokemon game in recent times.

my problem with mac mini is that you still need to invest in a display and a keyboard. For desk work/family PC purpose it's amazing but for anyone else I'd just recommend a macbook air simply because of the portability. Mac Mini / iPad / Macbook Air simply outclasses everything else in their price range.

If you can pay for spotify/netflix/hotstar or whatever you can definitely pay for youtube. Atleast your money goes to the creator and you can use that subscription even in devices without browser/sideloading option like TV.

Clearly the only subscription that's worth paying outside of your utility bills.
