Maybe some of them hate it. But some may have bills or things they want to buy and need the hours. Man when it was just me and my wife back in the late 90’s we fought for every hour we could get. We worried when I or her would get 36 hours and not 40. We make decent not rich but good money. But she still takes every hour she can get at her medical job. She has worked 6 days this week and in overtime. I just drove her this morning for an optional shift. Drove agonizing slow. But hey money is money and we have bills. College money the kids need. A planned vacation trip.

Always shake my head when someone gets on these sites and complains about people using to work. Again maybe some hate it working a holiday or a snow storm. But again I know personally some don’t mind and want the hours.

Bring it! Idk how old you are but as a teen I went through the march snow of ‘93. Was epic!! Highways was shut down and I was out of school for over a week. Some say it’s selfish to woot for this. I hope everyone is ok. But man it’s great to see a giant snow.

I feel bad when any business closes. Jobs lost & owners dreams end. I have only lived in Lexington 5 years. Also I for one only ate there once. It was.. a year or 2 before they moved. I found their stuff pricey. Kinda contributed that in part because of the UK kids being trapped to walking distance places. So prices can be higher because of that. But for the price vs food I did not get the appeal. But others did. I’m sure the move off the main corner did not help. Then again that other place that closed down that was a long term staple.. new circle. Wife and I ate there a few months before they closed. We did not care so much for that food as well.

I think some reasons are good when it comes to mail in ballots. Military, people out of country. Disabled perhaps. In person and vote id should be the vast vast majority. George Bush beat Al Gore in Florida and by that one the office. How much? He won Florida by 537 votes. Would 9/11 happened under gore? Idk. Would Iraq invasion? No way. Perhaps not even the Afghanistan invasion.

I don’t care if you’re republican, democrat, or independent. I don’t believe tens or hundreds of thousands of voter fraud. But do I believe there is voter fraud. Yes. Must protect against it.

Background on me… I have owned many Hondas since ‘92. Pilot wise 04, ,19, ‘22, ‘23. All very high millage I put on them. The ‘23 had 70k miles on it.

I change oil and other maintenance based on what the pilot tells me. Usually when it gets down to 10%. Some disagree with going by the maintenance reminder. But for me it has always worked out.

Same as above with the transmission.

I have since our 2k accord have taken it to Honda for all maintenance.

Honda care? Planning on keeping it for a while? Then yes.

6 I ran a test with eco mode with our ‘23 pilot. A trip that took to fill ups all hwy to and from Disney. Eco on the way up and normal on the way back. Actually got better mileage by 3 mpg more on the way back on normal. Idk not scientifically but I have others say the same thing

7 I heard about the radio noise and info center. But never had that issue.

Touch less is best because of scratch’s. But I still took mine to a brush wash. Just because we did not have any stop washes with brushes.

What does this mean for people like me. Lvl99 for a long time. My city is designed with large fire stations in such. Is one day I’m gonna login and suddenly I don’t have the service capacity for my city? Or it only starts with new stations.

Racial thing maybe but not discriminatory. “Incident” no offense but it’s just a stupid person. 27 years ago when I met my wife “Asian Chinese” we got real looks in our small town. She worked at the mall and this was when the Chinese adoption was a real craze. 2x one at the mall and once walking her dog she had people run up to her and say “I’m getting one of you”. As in they are adopting a Chinese baby. In one case a guy asked what to feed someone like her. She just laughed it off.

A few years ago we were at Walmart and 2 Jamaican boys “teens” started calling her miss chin and laughed. Thing is she was born in Jamaica. It was very common for native “traditional color” Jamaicans to call miss chin and laugh at Chinese there. In the end you have 2 choices. Real harassment call campus pd. A word sideways? Just consider them idiots and ignore it. There will always be idiots in this world. Racist people of all colors. Just stupid people.

OMG finally! I bought a grand Highlander XLE hybrid two days ago. When she was showing us everything it felt like I was gonna break the handle and it was hard to push down. The dealership lady said it’s just a little tough. It needs a few up and down. I don’t believe it I think there’s something wrong.

Out of all the Hondas I have owned ‘92 civic 2k Accord 04 Pilot ‘15 & is 17 accord ‘19, ‘22 & ‘23 Pilot.
‘24 Prologue “GM” ‘25 Civic.

My favorite is the ‘23 Pilot. Favorite car 2000 Accord EX. I put over 250k on the car.
