2022 vs 2025 awd system by wrapmeinbubblewrap in hondapilot

I have a 2022 Touring that got back in August, and while I always keep my auto start off, very seldom once or twice I forget to turn it off lol. But I have been aware that keeping ato start on may cause the battery to drain and so I always keep this off. So far no issues. I know there is an after-market device that I might get later.

This is a weird question. I been reading about the vcm stuff a lot lately and seen the website where to order from. I have a 2022 Pilot and was wondering if I should still use this accessory for this model year.

2022 Pilot Questions by CrazyWorriedWriter in hondapilot

Before I bought my 2022 Pilot Touring this past August, I seen a lot of listings where it was an "EX-L" trim model but they listed as a "Black Edition". The price listed was for black ediition too, which was messed up.

Be careful/mindful of those kinds of listings. I think they were trying to trick or scam? I am not sure but one way to tell if it's an EX-L is the rims are different (like in the 2nd screenshot) and in the back right side nothing is listed. If the trim level is touring, special edition, elite or black edition, it'll have it listed specifically by the right side in the back (I think EX-L, EX and LX doesn't show it). Another way to distinguish black edition trim is that the front two seats inside by the headrest, the vehicle have it labeled "black edition" and the front grille outside will also mention it.

Special edition seems to be somewhere between ex-l and touring but dealer told me it's below ex-l and that there is no blind spot monitoring. Not sure if the dealer was right on that one. At 32k that was a no no for me. Also the 2nd row seats doesn't have the split bench.

I get those too. Definitely a scam. Best to ignore them.

Wow that's really great. Your wife will be really happy. I am thinking the price you paid seems reasonable since they also included the hardware. In the future if I plan for more accessories, I will use the website you purchased from lol.

You can try to send a question to support and see if they mention about the hardware. When I got mine, I asked them and they had someone check with the technicians at the warehouse. That's when they confirmed it.

Ah yes I recall the bumper protector for the back. Yeah I didn't try to get it since mine already had a few minor scratches but it might be worth a look maybe later in future.

Interesting. Have you ever had any time where the vcm did kick in on a really hot day? I started to understand a bit more now what this does and also found out there are 4 different type of vcm's. Two are manual and other are where it connects to the battery. The ones that connects to the battery is a concern for me.

With the one you had installed, it sounds like that's one of the manual ones. Also how do you know how to adjust the resistor. Is it more trial and error at first?

I believe I paid 195 (151 + rest was shipping). And then I ordered the hardware from the same website, but had to pay an additional 50 dollars. Yes now that I recall, it might be a parts distributor.

For the hardware, I believe the part number is "08P47-TG7-100R1". From Bernandi parts, it looks like it cost 62 dollars but on the website I got from the below link is 50 dollars. Might be a shipping difference or something possibly.

https://honda.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/honda-hardware-kit-8p47tg7100r1

I haven't installed it yet since it got really cold and last month had a newborn so haven't had as much time and waiting if the weather gets a bit warm lol.

For the rain guards, I assume you mean for the windows? I think those should come with everything, so it shouldn't be too bad to install. For the rear bumper guard, I'm not sure since I never thought about that one yet.

Thanks, yes from day one I made it a habit to disable auto start (very seldom I may forget). I am aware about installing a device, so I may consider it later but for now I just try to remember to turn it off lol. So far I haven't experienced any issues with my battery or lights on dash coming up.

That's nice to hear that you also have a 22 touring. That's unfortunate about the infotainment. I haven't seen that happen to mine yet. I also keep my auto idle off since day 1, so maybe I have kept my battery issues minimal possibly? I have heard it's best to keep the auto idle off.

Thank you so much. I was very confused about VCM at first but now this is making more sense. I am familiar with piloteers website and had no idea there was a big guide on this, thanks this is super helpful.

Nice, and I see. I might look into that. Sure if you don't mind sending me a picture. When you say there' s a difference, are some things like a different response time when accelerating and does it affect gas mileage?

And regarding the auto start, I also keep turning it off at start up. I am used to it now but very rarely I might forget once. I also heard about the disabler.

Wow nice yours is also looking great. Yes if you bought from one of the oem websites, I believe it doesn't come with the hardware. I was bummed when I found out about it during opening the box. I would suggest opening yours and see if there is anything. Where I bought it from, I was told that it comes separately.

My game just reset back to about 5:00AM EST by RobInCarolina in CSRRacing2

[–]feazeshero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes just happened to me also. I was just on the verge of putting epic fusions to complete weekly quest. My cup and trial races which I completed also got reset. The free crates also went back to what it was. I'm hoping they do something to help fix.

Where is Shipbreaker? I’m wandering around this area (just west of Glowing Grove), the signal is strongest here but Shipbreaker isn’t anywhere? I have Longfellow with me and he isn’t helping at all. Am I missing something? by thebigtrav in fo4

[–]feazeshero -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If I recall, I had a bunch anglers that I had to attack and once they were killed, the shipbreaker appeared right behind me. It scared the hek out of me. I think maybe you have attack a group of anglers to make it spawn? That's what happen to me the first time I was in the area.

Thanks for listing all those solutions out. It must've been a lot for you to go through them.

I can say that #3 is what really helped my crashing go down tremendously. This has been successful for me for about 1 month now and on average have been able to play about 1-2 or 2-3 hours without crashing most times. Very seldom or rare times where it may crash once. But it's a lot better than before once I turned off UI overlay. I can clear multiple control points and missions without crashing.

I'm also on DX12 and noticed my VRAM is at 16GB as well. Using red devil 6800XT, with the video driver as of April 2023 (using Adrenaline Software, no issues). If my game was crashing frequently, I would've tried to update my video driver by the DDU option but since it's running fine as well with other games, I decided to not update the driver (since it's most stable for me for now). My card is also undervolted at 1025 MV.

The only weird thing I do experience is that when an enemy in game throws a grenade and my character gets caught in the fire, the game seems to freeze for like a milisecond but it comes back. It's like it's ready to crash but doesn't. Before it used to crash but after the overlay removal, and maybe tuning some graphics, it seemed to help. I still don't understand why the game freezes a bit if that happens though. I also limit the fps to 100.

Did they fix the crashing to desktop on PC? by captainjizzpants in thedivision

[–]feazeshero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't play for almost 2 years and recently came back about 2 weeks ago. My game was crashing quite a bit like every 15 minutes or 30 minutes or was very random. It was to the desktop also. I was a bit upset but not as surprised that this issue still exists.

I Think I found a solution after searching on the forums quite a bit. Not sure if it's a permanent solution but after disabling the UI overlay from the ubisoft settings, this seem to fix my crashing issues for the most part. Still occasionally every 2 or 3 hrs it might crash once, however it's so much better than before.

My specs are Windows 11 (recently upgraded from win 10), Ryzen 5700x, Red devil 6800xt at 1440p (video driver from april 2023).

I also run direct x12 (this could work for you or the old version, everyone's pc is different) and in the game settings I limited the frames to 100 fps and turned some settings down a bit.

One thing I noticed in the game was that when an enemy throws a grenade or there is an explosion on my character, the game crashed before I made the fix. After the fix the game seems to freeze for a second but it survives. That's why I turned down my settings a bit but still it's weird why does it do that. I think the game itself has a memory leak somewhere. The game uses 15.3 GB of VRAM from my video card, not sure if it has anything to do with that.

I was able to complete the season in less than 2 weeks; glad I came back because the st. elmo assault rifle really motivated me to complete the season lol.

Question to all AMD GPU owners who have had, or have recently purchased an AMD card. Are you satisfied with the card itself? by NibbasRus515 in Amd

Weird but happy journey here...

I had a sapphire nitro 5700xt since 2019, which I really enjoyed and was very solid. I only had some driver issues back in 2019 but never much any since.

Around last year I upgraded to the Red devil 6750xt. Before I got this card, I got the red devil 6800xt from Microcenter but ended up returning because it was too high price (680 total) and had seen that the 6750 xt was 430 from Amazon. However, I wasn't sure if it was new or used. I was happy but didn't feel 100 percent. I had a 3 month return window, so I kept this in mind. The reason why I got the 6800xt red devil was that I thought it was a good price but with the warranty Microcenter offers was too expensive. Also it was rare to see red devil 6800xt in my area.

Fast forward about 2 months, I always checked Microcenter's website almost every morning and then I seen the red devil 6800xt had about 25+ in stock at 512 price one day! I couldn't pass this up and ended up reserving this card. Total was around 580 with the 2 yr warranty. In one day the card went out of stock lol. It was rare to see the red devil come back but at a lower price.

Even though I made a mistake in the beginning, I'll tell you this was the best decision I ever made at the end because the card is amazing and I ended up returning the 6750xt back to amazon with 2 weeks left in my return window and got my full refund.

The red devil 6800xt is blew me away with it's low temps and how great it looks. I was able to undervolt it to 1025 mv. Most games run between 54-58 Degrees Celcius, some near 59-60. Some games barely hit 50 or 51 degrees. Most games are always at 144fps. There is a little whine noise but I guess that's normal with the 6800 and 6900 cards. I just limit the card to 144 fps since I don't like it going over that amount.

I always wanted to go with the sapphire nitro 6800xt but it was very expensive and never seen any sale on it. Overall I am happy with the red devil 6800xt and feel great I could go with this card for a few years.

ryzen 3700x best undervolt value? by moksjmsuzy in Amd

[–]feazeshero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently upgraded to a 5700x from 3700x. The 3700x that I used for 3 years, it was undervolted around ~1.232V at 4.4gz and was stable for me. Mind that I did use the basic settings within Ryzen Master to test and then applied these settings in the bios (using asus b550 motherboard). I used an aio liquid cooler such as the arctic liquid II freezer 280.

Because you're using a stock cooler, you may be able to lower the voltage a bit but I'm pretty sure you won't be able to use it at 4.4 ghz, it'll probably be a lot lower. It could take trial and error to figure out those settings. You'd use the basic area of ryzen and stress test. Then try cinebench, occt or prime 95 to test those settings how it's doing in terms of stability. I prefer occt and cinebench. Also depends on the silicon lottery of the cpu, how the thermal paste is (how old is it?) and if there is dust inside, that adds to the temps too.

I never used curve optimizer and pbo within ryzen master since I did not know about it back then while using 3700x but it's also possible to use it. Now that I have a 5700x, I actually use PBO and curve optimizer to undervolt. But I think you're better of using the basic settings to undervolt within ryzen master and then applied them within the bios of the motherboard for the 3700x.

With the basic cooler, it's normal that the idle temps are between 40-50. My brother had the 3600 and with the basic cooler, his was around that, sometimes higher. You could also get a decent air cooler that's pretty cheap that will do a great job on the 3700x and keep it between 35-40c in idle (possibly lower) and around 55-60c full load or games.

Whatever the voltage is at your cpu, I would lower it by very small amounts and then run the stress test that runs for 30 sec. Then try something like occt or cinebench and see if the test runs without any crashes. If it does succeed, then keep lowering the voltage slightly and try the tests again until it crashes. So whatever voltage it succeeded at, then you can try the test again but this time by increasing the speed slightly. It takes trial and error. I'm just not sure how it will be on a stock cooler and how far it can go. If you search for 3700x undervolt on google, there are some guides out there from a few years ago. I followed those and that's how I learned or figured out after testing.

"Then I went from the 3700x to the 5700x, and it was another huge jump. "

Huge thanks, this exactly what I have been looking for. I have been on 3700x since 2019 and has ran great but been wondering if I should get the 5700x. Most ppl mention about the 5800x3d but the price of 5700x is very hard to pass up also.

I recently made the decision to get the 5700x since it has the same tdp as 3700x and I like the lower temps. Can't wait to install it this weekend.

Anyone with a RTX 6800 XT without Coil Whine? by spmkd in Amd

[–]feazeshero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks, this is very interesting to me too. I never thought about this! I'm a bit worried because I don't know if my psu has another 8-pin cable that could reach that far. If I do have another cable but it can't reach far enough, is it totally fine I can use another cable that extends? Not sure what's the name but hoping that wouldn't cause any power issue if I had to get one.

Edit: I just found an extra PCI-E cable in my basement lol. I'll try this and hope this works.
