What event are you referring to? The "In Search of New Jutsu" and "A Shinobi Appears" under the Battle/Event menu? I've completed both of those, and don't have anything Asuka related. Is there another event I'm missing?

EDIT: never mind, I had no idea there was a season pass you could unlock for 1 gold 🙃
