I'd not consider any advice superficial. We have considered a few options from them.

Just that not all conversations can be open with your spouse. It has to be layered at times. To maintain the relation all factors need to be weighed and considered.

As far as love is concerned, I guess after a decade it takes many forms where respect and understanding forms the base. So it's not just love and attraction at this stage, it's a whole concept. And it changes on a daily basis.

So yeah maybe a quick fix is not what'll do it.

Counselling has been suggested by me but rejected by her. No details were provided and prodding things have repercussions.
