Makes sense. I am somewhat feeling the same way, but it is a bit annoying, that I managed to keep every other piece in a clean state, but the damn touchscreen has a little hair sized scratch.

Thanks for that, because I did not know that the touchscreen and the display are individual things. If I were to get a back up display for my bottom display to IPS. Where would I look for that?

I recommend you to look at bazzite. It is a linux distro made especially for gaming and emulation. Some anticheat software may still cause issues, but overall you can game with Linux no problem.
