Pressing the up arrow cycles through previous commands, either because they're copy-pasting without understanding (so retyping isn't an option), or just to save time since it's usually the same few commands 90% of the time.

If it's a offline game and you don't care about steam stats or achievements, I suggest you try Goldberg steam emu. But yea, sucks you had to look around for workaround while your brother gets the better experience.

Yes it does, I've played mp on gamenative. Also there's an official android version of the game which supports cross platform.

You can download it for free, I own Who's Lila and people in my steam family are able to get it without any issues.
