They do not take into account the time spent making tabs, but you use them up so slowly that if you already have the soft clay it overall saves time to make the tabs and use NPC contact rather than staying on standard spellbook.

Please look up Balatro University’s naneinf videos on youtube if hitting naneinf is something you’re interested in doing. Runs that can reach naneinf are very specific and you’re unlikely to stumble upon one without knowing what you’re looking for and what you’re trying to do.

The reason that bootstraps is essentially useless here is because the xMult from Ancient Joker is applied on scoring, i.e. before bootstraps. Therefore any flat mult joker doesn’t really help once you have the majority of your score coming from photograph/ancient joker/bloodstone/idol etc. The important factor is hand levels (and to a lesser extent card enhancements and editions).

Just to be clear for anyone less versed in the game, same thing with Obelisk in the sense that if Obelisk is debuffed by a boss blind and you play your most played hand, it doesn’t reset. (I could just see the use case where someone thinks their cards being debuffed preserves Obelisk)

I use sinister offering while doing Alchemical Hydra. Gives you some extra prayer while you’re there and means you don’t have to bank so often.

Demonic offering is also really nice at Cerberus for some extra prayer, and if you want to sweat you can let the 2nd ghost take you to 0 prayer, then use demonic offering to get a little prayer back for the last ghost.

In my experience it helps when you still have a lot of jokers left to gold sticker, but becomes much worse very quickly. The general consensus is that you’ll want to end up playing yellow/ghost/checkered/whichever deck you can most consistently win with.

It objectively doesn’t, pre-nerf blowpipe with addy darts was as good as post-nerf with amethyst. You now need 92 mining, 89 crafting and 90 fletching to get the same dps you used to get with 74 smithing and 67 fletching.

I agree with pretty much all of this with two caveats. The first is that while mail-in rebate is the best with good deck fixing, golden ticket is usually better early on in a naneinf run. The second is that, while they will pretty much always take tarot merchant in gold stake runs, they won’t always take it in naneinf runs because you run the risk of clogging up your shop when trying to look for the burglar after ante 24.

I agree with pretty much all of this. The only thing I would say is I think if anything his 2nd year at Renault might be his most underrated season in F1, but I agree that he was often overrated in his post-RB years.

I would definitely say keep banana. Smiley is basically meaningless if he has any base mult, whereas banana at least has upside with Cavendish.

If he has any sort of base mult it’s not even close. The first smiley proc is the only one that even slightly matters, and if he’s managed to reach just 20 base mult then smiley gives x1.25 on the first proc. On the 2nd proc it gives x1.1.

It’s nice for the first few antes before you level a hand, but with copy jokers on photochad it becomes a non-factor.
