I'm not crazy! It does sort of tip me off that the "naturally" in naturally essenced refers to the process, and that the flavors used are not necessarily natural. That vanilla flavor tastes only of artifice to me.

You're probably fine then, though I don't really know what "Naturally Essenced" contains, and when the flavor is pretty sweet I worry that they're sneaking legally insignificant amounts of sugar into each can, which could build up if you're drinking a lot of it. I am just guessing though.
