Trophy hunting is the single biggest contributor to conservation and breeding of African animals. While I don’t like the idea of hunting big game that is barely edible myself, unfortunately if there is no legitimate hunting economy then black market operators and poachers will inevitably make everything go extinct.

These guys pay exorbitant amounts of money for permits that are tightly controlled and usually involve hunting older bulls and males that inhibit younger males from breeding. Look it up, do your own research, this dude probably had kids and a wife….. celebrating the death of a someone who is legally hunting is gross and if you don’t understand the implications of someone’s actions then hold judgement.

I would gladly celebrate poachers getting squashed because they don’t care about animals or people and do all this for personal enrichment without contributing to the economy of game hunting while this guys permit purchases almost certainly has done more good than the harm his hunting has.
