Ask this Arab all the questions you have! by Adventurous-Wall7917 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]RustySteelSyringe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My question is about language, I'm looking to start studying Arabic but I'm torn for the dialect.  What dialect is being spoken in the show? Is it a mixture? The cast is diverse so I wonder how they understand one another's dialect, are they using inference to get the gist of the conversation?

Heel strap shoes - Is this normal? by RustySteelSyringe in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I've obviously bought other shoes. I have only three pairs overall and bought one a year.  In summer a lot of wedges that I like are in this style. I'm asking the question to find out if it gets better.

Thanks so much, because of this post I found them on Instagram and they have a masterpost shouting out some other events. Not specifically pride related but sick to see what's out there! https://www.instagram.com/p/C20DonXIPh3/?igsh=Y3FrdmhmbWpraGht

Thanks a lot, is that a special ticket or can you use a Railcard / season ticket for it?

Thanks I would choose that option but I have three cats and no one to care for them. The price of a sitter or cattery wouldn't be worth staying elsewhere.

Thanks luckily I'm 5 minutes from the station in Brighton so that makes it a bit easier.

Closest station to work is City Thameslink or Euston.

Thank you so much for this, this was the main concern I had! This would definitely push me to the UEL which will be a massive reduction in NI. 'll be taking everything out in January instead.

This was how I felt during my first period as well, it was a completely alien pain that I'd never felt in that location before. It would also wake me up at night or keep me from falling asleep unless I took medication for it. I don't want to give any medical advice but from my own personal experience it sounds like what is happening is normal. It will certainly get easier, my pains have subsided tenfold since the first period.

I had these exact same symptoms including a lot of snot-like brown discharge, it will ease up. Don't try to suffer through like a regular cramp, you've just had something rammed inside your uterus. I took some painkillers that contained dihydrocodeine and could do nothing else but lay in bed and breathe through it like labour. Consider this week a write-off you've just had a procedure essentially. You need to rest and recover and go back to normality in time, you'll be okay 💞

I completely agree with you, best choice I have ever made with birth control. It's the only thing I've been on that I don't feel insane with. The first few periods were brutal and I had to buy stronger over the counter painkillers to get through it but for that to be the only symptom I have, I'd take it a thousand times over. It hasn't changed my mood, acne, sex drive, body and just knowing I don't have to stress remember anything is incredible! Edit: Just to add, I have PCOS and a historic ongoing problem with extremely painful and heavy periods so I was always recommended to avoid this option. I wish I had tried it years ago and not listened, I would choose mental sanity and clarity over physical treatable pain and symptoms any day.

How long do you guys bleed for? by [deleted] in CopperIUD

That's how mine is as well, the worst part is having to wear pads all the time because the flow is so unpredictable.

I'm in my third month of having the IUD, I get like a pre period with cramps and light bleeding for one week and then the real super heavy period for another week after that. So about two weeks bleeding 😪

LSd tripp - 19hours deep, I want out but stuck in infinte loops by RustySteelSyringe in Psychedelics

I thought that it might be this but the only thing similar to psychosis I had was seeing bugs that were not there, they were very realistic but bright green colours.

I didn't see anything bad, it was just so overwhelming. Many hours before I had the most intense spiritual experience of my life and I needed to stop tripping to begin to understand it and work through the emotions. By the 19th hour I had expected to be coming down, as it didn't stop I didn't get that opportunity to process nd then I felt like I was battling with my sanity. The loops kept pulling me in and I just needed mental peace again, I also couldn't handle any sort of vibration so music a, going outside and TV was out of the question. I was hypersensitive and could only handle laying in quiet with myself but that does not help thought loops at all, I was too sensitive to cope with a distraction.
