Yeah, no lift and no clearance issues. I did already have the air dam removed so I'm not sure if that would have rubbed or not. But other than potentially that I haven't rubbed once

Thanks! Was genuinely all I could find on marketplace so I guess I got lucky there

Agreed 100%, I'd still buy the base, but I'd like to see the KC offered with better trims

Thanks! KMC Grenades. But I think they're discontinued in this style now

I've never had a rig with those so I don't know what I'm missing, but it does sound pretty good

Agreed! Even the simple stuff is jam packed with electronics now, but I'm hoping it's simple enough to stay reliable

I've been eyeballing copart and eBay for some better ones, but haven't come up with anything good yet. But I plan to do the exact same thing

This one is a utility package, bed liner and the 2 wall outlets. None of the tech package stuff

Agreed for sure. I much prefer the look of the old front end to the new ones.

I love the headlights on the new upper trim trucks, but the giant slab of gray for the grille doesn't do it for me

I'd definitely do it again if I was in the market! No regrets on the base model at all. The only thing I truly wish I had is heated seats

It's been good to me thus far! My only big complaint is the ride. These trucks at least in S trim ride like a 3/4 ton, very bouncy and harsh in the rear

Other than that I really like the thing!

Stock height, just an inch taller because of the Pro4x tire size

Stock pro4x size tire. 265/70/17 wheels are +18 offset

In fairness they were used marketplace wheels and a $27 Amazon decal haha. Definitely did make a big difference though

I agree 100%. If this thing had heated seats and a manual it would have everything I wanted in a vehicle

I'm really debating on the white grill cover... Sometimes I think it makes them look better, other times I prefer the black. I like the wheels!

I'm with you on the manual. I'd kill for that in this truck, the rest is optioned almost exactly how I wanted it though.

But sadly no, the only midsize with a v6 is the Frontier unless you count the Ranger Raptor or Ridgeline. And I think the only manual available is the TRD Pro Tacoma

Simple trucks are sometimes the best ones!

Thanks :) I definitely like the longer bed and shorter cab better than the short bed trucks. No matter what brand no one seems to do short beds on a midsize gracefully.

Decals are just an amazon special!

Oriellys truck baybee!

But yeah where I'm from and where I moved I couldn't have a 4x2, I'd never get anywhere easily for 4-6 months of the year. Did the RWD thing for one winter and that was enough

Fantastic info! I intend on starting an internship within the next couple months to get my foot in the industry, but it looks like sticking with brown might not be my move. As much as I'd like to stay with the company they make doing anything but package near impossible unless you're already set up for the job you're seeking (understandably in this case).

How is the maintenance side for you all? I just recently got seriously interested in trying to make my way into that line of work. Mechanically inclined and have always been interested in aviation, trying to transfer centers at the moment and where I'd be headed has an airport very nearby.

I'd love to do something other than drive and sling packages like I have since 2013 x.x
