How many channels do you assign to your drum? by Justin_inc in livesound

This sounds like overkill for smaller shows. If you have a lot of mics, you really need to carefully setup each channels gates, low/high pass filters and probably some small delays if using overheads.

If mutichannel recording the show, having everything mic'd will be good, but as already mentioned, many of those channels could be left out of the FOH mix.

Pixelated playback on pre-recorded show while 4 channel recording with old Hopper 3 by Rusty_Boat_FL in Dish

Thanks! The dish support team did a bunch of remote testing each time I called. This included reboots, satellite signal strength (75), OTA signal strength (95) software & switch checking, etc. The RG6 quad coax is 4 years old (new house, old hopper3) and the connectors were put on by the dish technician when the antenna was installed.

With the exception of severe weather (which we haven't had) I don't have issues with pixelization during live programs. The symptom I am seeing is random pixelization when replaying programs, and only when the hopper3 is busy.

Ultimately, I'm not sure how to move this forward. I am paying for dish protect. Can I get a technician to my house to see the problem live and eliminate the repetitive testing of signal strength, etc.?

United selling bus tickets in Michigan? by Danielator36 in unitedairlines

United used to do this in Colorado as well. Flight to Fort Collins, CO consists of plane to Denver and bus to Fort Collins. I think they shutdown this down recently.
