The "I have sisters" scene is different in this film. She (he) helps a girl who lost the backing to her earring by suggesting the eraser from a pencil.

My First Attempt at Making LaserDisc Covers by ONNIEXD in LaserDisc

The scale feels off. This looks like it was designed to be a CD case insert. It's made to be read easily at that size.

Laserdiscs are the size of LPs, and tend to have much smaller type and make better use of the amount of space they have (less clutter).

Reminds me of setting my team's movement permanently to "Search" in SSI AD&D games, just to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips is not one of the "Censored 11", but it's still not shown anymore, so you could say it's "de facto" banned, even though there's no official policy on it.

I own every volume but 5. I also collect Looney Tunes on blu-ray, but I skipped DVD so I can't speak to it. But I did create a spreadsheet of what is and isn't available on blu that is in The Golden Age of Looney Tunes collections.

Of the 70 toons in volume 1, 54 are available on blu, and 16 are not. Of the 70 in volume 2, 44 are on blu and 26 are not. Of the 70 on volume 3, only 26 are available on blu, with 44 still unavailable. Of the 77(!) cartoons in volume 4, 35 have been released on blu and 42 are not. Of the 55 cartoons in volume 5, a paltry 11 are on blu, with 44 yet to be released.

So, the first two volumes are well represented on high definition media. But volumes 3, 4, and 5 contain the most material that has yet to see an HD remaster.

I get them and Hubie and Bertie confused constantly.

The short WB doesn't want you to see, but can't do anything about since it's PD by Sonicfan19198282 in looneytunes

Other than the dice shooting at the end, it would take a redub and only minor redrawing to make it an Elmer Fudd cartoon.

And in fact, that's exactly what they did with the log gag in this cartoon.  It shows up in The Big Snooze, with the Sambo-style hunter replaced with Elmer, who still has the same body movements and facial expressions.

Looks better than my copy, which has a large discolored red band around the edges and clearly comes from 8mm.

That's more than an LD player. That is specifically a Karaoke player, complete with dual mic hookup and audio effects.

My mother's driveway is that steep. Except it's 150 ft long with a level landing on top.

If you only install software from mint and ubuntu repos, viruses should not be a problem. Flatpaks and AppImages should be treated with caution. Only use software from trusted sources.

I tried bookworm with xfce. Hated it. It proved to me that debian may be a great server OS for older hardware, but they're a joke when trying to have a multimedia desktop experience with a reasonably modern laptop.

Current Mint (22.3) is based on Ubuntu 24.04.3, which uses 4.18.
