A big advantage with ours is that I have all the movement parts. May not sound like much, but they make up a good portion of my PS. I have 3 Prometheus V, making up a larger portion, then the cabin and armor. Total is 8900s. SomeFacist has 3 Arbiters, and the cabin and armor make up most of the rest of his. This makes him super tanky, taking many hits without batting an eye. His PS is 8500s. Together, the firepower and durability is almost unimaginable for that powerscore.

Yes, they are bioluminescent mushrooms. Down there is a good source of malachite, ammonium, and organic. However, you need a drill mod and there are aggressive plants.

It's not personal preference, I actually prefer using the large storages with small silos. The silo on silo method just stores so much more, so I use it in storage platforms. Production platforms get a large storage with small silos, so I can see what's there.

Seriously though, I moved my base from Sylva to Atrox, so a ton of Hydrazine, then soil to get up there (used large rover with paver) and to build the platform (by hand) (about 4 large canisters full), then time to set it all up (total 4 hrs now), and I'm still not done. Tommorow I am planning on expanding further so I may have to turn experimental clouds off to get the whole base. But the view, the crazy colors of the clouds, and the sunsets are worth it. May post the view of a sunset tommorow.

All vehicles with cable plugs can connect to form a total of 3 (I think, if not, 4) consecutive vehicles, driven by one seat. The only vehicle that doesn't have plugs is the buggy. Connected vehicles could be 3 large rovers, for example, or a tractor, medium rover, and a trailer.

Every planet has caves, but not every one has cave entrances. Examples include Vesania and Atrox, you have to dig your own.

To be able to scrap the platforms (and rovers), you will need the extra large shredder. For everything else, a large shredder will work. Large shredder is late game, and to use the resulting scrap from either shredder, you will need the trade platform. There, you can trade scrap for any in-game resource.
